would be pointless

Interview is old ,at this Time Bishop Lamont was on Aftermath
-
Dre need to just scrap that whole "DETOX"thing, and focus on producing.
-
He's not a mixtape artist but he should. I mean how fucked up is it to make your fans wait 10 years for an album then we get 1 lp worth of material then that's it. He really should get over himself and feed his fans.
Do something like.
Countdown to detox ep vol 1 - hit us with 5-8 songs
Countdown to detox vol 2. with another 5-8 songs
Detox: the final countdown mixtape with about 12 songs
All songs he's 100% sure he's not putting on the final album, all untagged. That's literally the least he could do for his fans waiting (and giving us that garbage ass relapse album)

did you even listen to what he said?
would be nice to hear some stuff that wouldn't be getting released on Detox; but it's gonna be tagged... by Whoo Kid...

Dr. Dre will join the pantheon of artists who have collaborated with DJ Whoo Kid.
In a recent interview with Hip Hop Chronicle UK, DJ Whoo Kid revealed that he may be working with Dr. Dre on a new mixtape.
"Finally, goddamn!" said the G-Unit deejay of the opportunity to get to work with Dre, whose presence on the mixtape circuit has been extremely scarce.
"It would be an honor to finally finish my mixtape career do something with him," added Whoo Kid.
DJ Whoo Kid has worked with a slew of artists over the past decade, including 50 Cent and the rest of G-Unit, Maino, Obie Trice, Lil Kim, Chamillionaire, Bishop Lamont, Capone 'N Noreaga, Busta Rhymes, Tech N9ne and many more.

I came up with something similar in a frustrated rant last year.
I would've done some kind of Aftermath EP each year or every two years to keep fans entertained with new stuff

I guess everything so far will be scrapped & thrown on a mixtape.
Smooth, Dr.
-
any Dre music is better than no Dre music
-
i'd be shocked if this ever happened.
-

that's pretty reasonable ...especially with Kush and INAD who had Dre only rapping and not producing anything ... whcih makes them kinda weird in the context of the album
-
A mixtape would be cool. They could put Syllables, My Prescription, Chillin, and other songs Dre has been working on like Grow Up, SlimdaMobster, etc. 8)
I was surprised to see that INAD was still the #1 hip hop/rap song on ITunes and has been creeping up the Billboard charts. It makes sense with all of the radio play it seems to be getting now and does anyone doubt that there is a Dre performance upcoming on American Idol this year? Pretty amazing that just the initial buzz of the song without the radio play netted over 1MM in sales. Will be interesting to see if it outsells 'G Thing'.
-
Of course it will outsell g thang; it wasn't overly accessible to buy singles back in the day like it is now. More sales def won't mean more impact tho
