Busta Rhymes starts at 1:30, for those who dont wanna hear Chris Browns part

I think this song is CLASSIC just till Weezy starts spittin his lame ass verse.
What was he thinkin? ::)
Breezy's part was dope as well! ;D
but ever since it leaked back then I hoped he would be replaced cause of some label fuckery perhaps. lol
-
Busta is def. the best part of the song. He goes off on this too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6h1AKVZvqjk
-
Yeah this gets a lot of play from me, beat is dope, and shit is vintage busta, Chris ain't too bad either
-
I mean for a club/swag song, I love it. But like "classic"? I don't know about all that. Busta is just rambling. If we based "classicness" off of pure flow, I guess "Relapse" could just be one of the greatest albums of all time then lol. Em's flow was unreal, but his content was "I got a dick in my brain..yeah, fucked in the head" lol.
But I don't want to be "that guy" in this thread. Dope song. 8)

A song that I can't consider actual Hip Hop, but I can fuck with it because I'm feelin' the vibe of the song. I.E. - Wayne, Drake, etc.
I like that music, but only the vibe it gives off. So I call it "swag" music. 8)

Cool. Never heard a song be called swag before.
Its a good club song, but i wouldnt call it classic.

no its wasn't. and yes you are that guy

Point out the flaws in his flow. I'm telling you lyrically half of it is complete nonsense, but as far as flowing over the beat goes, it's impressive.

Flow-wise Relapse is Em at his worst. Go back and take a listen.

I mean, maybe we just look for different things with flow. But I don't see anything slightly wrong with his flow here.
As for the lyrics, sure, 1/3 of them are awful.
-
LMAO you seriously find that amazing? Check your ears bro. You hear that haltering thing he has to do with his voice now? That's weakness at its finest, the opposite of a smooth flow. Any of his previous shit beats it by miles.

Basically non-stop spitting for the entire verse, finding words to fit to keep the scheme going.
Of course he had to change his voice, but if Eminem was British & had an accent you would say that it's "wack" due to the fact his voice would always sound like that?
I'm not saying his flow was better than his older flow. Just in terms of flow it wasn't bad.
& getting back to the point of all of this, sure Busta rapped incredibly fast here. But he didn't say anything that was like "whoa that's classic". Remember that white kid you posted on DBA that rapped fast? That was better lyrically than Busta here lol.
-
First off his accent has to do with his delivery, not his flow. If you can't tell the difference leave this discussion now.
lol @ you bringing up the white kid out of nowhere as if it adds anything to your argument. It just makes you sound stupid because the kid's flow is actually pretty amazing on that song. He didn't get millions of views for being wack. The only reason I heard of him is because talented rappers on twitter were tweeting about how impressive he was.
The main point to get out of this is that fast rapping does not equal great flow. For example, Silkk the Shocker rapped fast quite a bit. Mainly because he was unable to properly sequence and space words together.Listening to Em you should be able to clearly hear that his flow is all over the place and he can't get the smooth delivery out.
-
The delivery affects flow, naturally.
Eminem's delivery is using the accent, but with the accent he can "properly sequence and space words together" for his flow.
All the accent does is allow him to make "birthday cake" & "halloween" rhyme. *that's exaggeration before you jump all over it as your next argument lmao*
& I'm in agreement that rapping fast doesn't equal a great flow. If it doesn't sound good, it's not good. But people are hyping Busta rapping fast like that makes it (as it's said above by some) "classic".
-
The delivery affects flow, naturally.
Actually it doesn't. I'm sure there are some instances where it does but not here. Lol @ naturally as if you have a clue what you are talking about. I remember a previous discussion where you didn't even know the difference between flow and delivery. Apparently you still don't.

This sentence has nothing to do with anything we've been talking about. Who's talking about his accent? I'm not.

If you can't tell the difference in quality flow between Bust on this song and Em on the wack song you posted then we shouldn't be having this discussion. Go back to hip hop 101 and try again.
-
On a further note, go and try to rap both tracks. Which one is difficult? Also which one sounds retarded, regardless of an accent? Point made.

Why don't you 2 meet up and pull out each other's hair?
-
lol, I didn't think it meant so much to you for you to have zero facts & just state what you think.
"Well it doesn't, I said so." "You're wrong".
Son, learn how to argue. Show me a place in "Stay Wide Awake" where his flow is fucked up lol.
& "try to rap on both tracks?" really, son? Eminem sounds just as smooth as Busta if you don't discredit his accent. The difference is Eminem's lyrics are stupid. But Busta's aren't great himself.
So yeah, If you wanna be a complete moron further, sure. Just take the W lol.
-
Em's flow on relapse was dope although the accent gave the album way less replay value.
I agree with chamilitary dude. never thought it was possible. ;D
but damn yall gotta stop goin at each other like 11-year olds ;D

I can't really stand that song but I rapped the first few bars out loud. It was easy and sounded retarded, and I was using my voice not his accent. How is that not fucked up? With all those hesitating pauses between each word he's on some Silkk the Shocker shit.
Busta's shit is too fast for me to rap so I couldn't try that.
And yes, I'll take the W.
-
He uses the accent to make the shit rhyme, its part of the flow.
-

lol i'm not talking about his rhyming or his accent at all.
-
I was just pointing out that it's stupid tryna spit his shit without the accent as the cadence of the words and the way he accentuates pronounciations is a big part of his flow
-
what are they thinking when they give this type of beat to an R&B singer.
-
I was just pointing out that it's stupid tryna spit his shit without the accent as the cadence of the words and the way he accentuates pronounciations is a big part of his flow
just imagine Em in his normal voice spacing words out that way. Sounds wack as fuck and is on some silkk the shocker shit with all the hesitating between each word. lol unless you want to say silkk the shocker had a dope flow, you can't say that Em does either.
-

But as you can hear, clearly, he doesn't use his "normal voice" lol. Why are you even factoring that into the equation? Mad irrelevant.
The accent voice allows him to do things with words to make it flow.
There isn't even a comparision to Silk The Shocker. Eminem made it flow smoothly. Silk wasn't smooth at all. Listen to "Stay Wide Awake" again lol.

lol now you're just contradicting yourself. First you say it sounds like its not dope because of his accent. Now you're saying its dope because of the accent? Automatic fail, lmao.
If his flow relies completely on the accent everyone agrees is weak then it can't possibly be dope.
Point is, the flow is weak as fuck with or without his accent. Smooth? There is no smoothness in Em's flow. For crying out loud the guy can't string a sentence together without hesitating between every word. That's the complete opposite of smooth.
-
Where did I say it wasn't dope? ???
The accent itself is "weak" (the fact he used one), but the way he puts his words together, plus the fact he's taking huge hits in the context department, makes the flow of it dope.
A dope flow is smooth. It "flows smoothly" lol.
-

It doesn't flow smoothly at all. Having to stretch half your words out to fit in a rhyme is the opposite of smooth.
Like I've been repeating, you can use this flow without the accent at all. And it still sounds wack as fuck. The lyrics sound like shit spaced out like that (and that's speaking on the flow pattern, not the content). At this point you're just an Em stan in denial.
-
^Yeah, an Eminem stan that admits what he did on that album was weak.
Like I said, you're beyond clueless to the definition.

lmao you're the herb raving about Em's "amazing" flow in a Busta Rhymes thread. If that ain't groupie status I don't know what is. Take your L already.
