yup. As far as i remember i think you can hear it on the album on a track Light Speed. There's a voice that says "Chronic 2000" and just after that there's a sampled voice of KRS-One saying "one". I think they made the song before the legal issue and added that sample later.

november or october 1999....i remember i was in 10th grade and skipped first period to go pick it up...kurupt also dropped in 1999..i think a month or a week before..

streets, i want it all, classic220 and chronic 2001 all came out the same week if im not mistaken...i worked at a moms and pops record shop in the hood back then we used to put shit on the shelves before its release date as we would often get albums 2 weeks early and i think i remember us getting them all at the same time.

12th grade for me. we didnt have off campus lunch so we left during lunch time and came back. i remember coming back and flashing the cd through the hallways.

Death Row sued saying the name "Chronic" was theirs. So Dre dropped the "Chronic" from the name and just added a leaf on the cover to represent it and changed the year from 2000 to 2001.
