Picked up Mr Mike's Rhapsody album from back in 1999 today in a sale - all I can say is WHOA.
The guy represents Texas, and used to be part of South Circle on Suave House. This album is fucking tight - Battlecat and Fred Wreck handle the majority of production, and there's even a collabo with Ras Kass there that is off the hook.
Mike's lyrics are dope - he spits some heartfelt lyrics about balancing love for the streets with spirituality; reminded me a lot of Pac's more mature shit. Anyway, if I could rip it I would, but my computer is so old I gotta crank it up before it works. I'll post a review in the other forum in the next week or so, but I just wanted to se if anyone else here knows how tight this shit is.

i had this album at one time...it was hard...i used to love suave house...they put out so much quality shit...mr mike is the shit too...hes very west coast influenced...but reps the 3rd coast hard...yall need to peep the album...props lord funk

I have "Wicked Ways", it has a lot of dope E-A-Ski production. The song with Ice Cube is off the hook too.

"Rhapsody" is just as, if not better than "Wicked Wayz". There's some dope ass tracks on there. 'It's a shame'...damn that song is hard!
