wtf happened to DJ Quik feature?!
Indeed. Maybe he produced a track?
-
Retail album well mixed with a pair of Beats by Dre sound way better than unmixed/unmastered leaked tracks posted by Daz and I got to say it's pretty coo overall! So I might pick it up along with Book Of David next week at my usual shop 8)

:-X

nope thats not the new cover. The new one have not the Dj Quik name on it
-
Got some bangers on it...too bad most of best tracks he leaked already...makes the release less hyped and exciting....That track with WC & Soopafly go hard than a muthafucka tho....

No Hand Out's Or Favors Ft. Sly Boogy 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8) 8)

i'd venture to say...this is my favorite daz album since RRGB
-

slightly disagree, it's a bit better than matter of dayz but still mediocre. most of the beats are decent, most of the raps are horrible.
only 2 or 3 tracks stand out : no hands out or favor, the song with cube, the song with kurupt. the rest is average at best.
-
Love this. Eerie production
-
9 songs in so far, n im lovin it
lyrics are corny n stupid (but i dont care bout that, im listenin to Daz Dillinger not Chino XL), but the production is flawless
some gangsta shit, for the tru dpg-fans
Rating:
8/10

tight ass album Daz alwayz bringing us music for the streets on a consistent basis unlike a lot of rapperz out here. Most of the songz on here are bangerz
-
damn daz stepped it up on this shit! bangin ass beats!
-
8 years ago I would've liked this more probably. It sounds like very generic rap to me.
-
Not impressed with this album. Only 2-3 good songs, to many cameos. Daz is pretty much done unless he comes up with something new.

this is very decent, if you like this type of thing, which i do. i think daz is better staying in this lane, the 'west coast g-shit' stuff, than trying anything new, like gangsta crunk.
-
:loopaper: 'nuff said.

exactly! Thats daz.

Whats up with "I'm Cool" ? Same beat (with some modification) as Mc Eiht - What the fuc you want me 2 do.

yea, thats weird
Daz isnt credited as a producer for the MC Eiht-song.
guess Daz snatched teh MC Eiht-beat and credited himself as a producer on his album..
???

yeah but Daz sounds good on it! Im glad to see Crystal back too! remember me the time of This Life I Lead & DPGC U Know Im Throwin Up
-
Sounds like Daz bought some beats for the album. Haven't got the CD yet so no credits..
-
im cool is produced by tha chill. i think daz mentioned it in another thread.
-
I see people calling the album mediocre, everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but it's definitely one of Daz's better albums as of recent times.
-
well the beats are decent, but i prefer the productions from public enemiez. the raps are boring as hell, daz used to be entertaining witch catchy hooks and phrases that stuck in your head. now it's all very monotonous. this album is better than matter of dayz (which was mediocre too) but i prefer public enemiez, only on the left side, even gangsta party or any other daz album bar matter of dayz. idk it just sounds daz tried to use an old formula but didn't give the same passion. or maybe its just me who's no longer interested in that type of rap...

this.

Daz needs a track IT Sooopa Dupppa Fly, Battlecat, MECH and Scoop Deville ..
but this album is note 6 ..good
-
I like what I've heard so far, will pick the album up when it drops 8)

True. And lol @ some folks over here cryin' to Daz about making a West Coast album and when he does it they say he should come up with some new shit :D
Some of y'all are never going to change. You wanted a West Coast album with some West Coast beats and typical 'gangsta shit' rhymes and when you get one y'all start complaining about boring beats, generic topics and how Daz fell off and he should come up with new sound, new style etc. lmao @ this bullshit
It's a really good album with solid production and it def has the sound I wanted to hear from Daz for a long time. All the tracks aside from "G Spot" and "I'm Cool Of U" are dope 8)
-
it ain't about the type of music he does, it's about quality, spontaneity and passion. and this album may have decent beats, daz is just straight up boring and monotonous most of the time. call me crazy but i prefer me some gangsta crunk any day.
Now Dat's Gangsta >>> D.A.Z.

Gangsta Crunk got some crazy production on it. The real star of the album is the skits though...Daz's production of movie style skits is flawless..

I'm really feeling most of the beats on this album.
Daz is back on his game.

Damn so you're gonna try and slam me in every thread now?
Listen to those skits if you wanna know if I'm wrong or not. Just posting this shit isn't gonna get you anywhere...

if theres one thing for sure, its that daz needs more KURUPT on this album! or we need YET another DPG album...kurupt sounds good on my homeboy and its clear daz sounds more comfortable or just better in doses with kurupt. Most classic duo keep it comin!
-
Dope cd I like it . +1 daz
-
My Homeboy is the standout cut for me.
On that eerie funky sound pioneered by DPG since "Smooth" days.
Good album.

i'll be gettin my copy on friday, just ordered from amazon, cant wait to get it!
