Does anybody besides Just Blaze know what song he sampled? I've been looking it up for like the past hour, and everywhere I read, nobody can name the sample. Someone posted on this other forum that Just Blaze said he would never reveal the sample he used, but maybe someone stumbled upon it somewhere?

Dude the producers who dig for these samples are insane, that's what makes them so dope. Did you see where the "a milli" voice sample came from? Or "mass appeal"? These dudes literally took 3 second clips and built hit singles around them.
Just Blaze said he's keeping it a secret cuz he didn't clear the samle right?

Yea I know what you mean about the "a milli" sample. my favorite example is Full Clip by Gangstarr, with the Cal Tjader sample that wasn't even the melody lol. And yea, I would assume it is because he didn't get it cleared, and is hoping not to get sued lol.

You're gonna end up on a sleepless mission trying to find this lol. But good luck. If I have time ill see if I can get in on the search party too

The bad news is this set is missing a vital component: the sample used on "Church for Thugs", a Just Blaze-produced track. A year or so ago, Blaze was talking shit and premiering previously-unreleased Saigon tracks on his Ustream page. He was also taking questions from the chat box. I asked him if he'd ever reveal the "Church for Thugs" sample. His answer, for the sake of brevity, was "no."[/u] The mystery lives on

Apparently "2 of amerikaz most wanted" is sampled too.
I remember some dude from mirc / dpg forum was asking daz about it but never got a response. I guess some radio station was playing hip-hop songs followed by the songs the sampled. He heard the sample played but never got the song title. He too went on an endless search.
