this is not a song I'd even expect to hear on the radio to be honest, just  a street single so the fact its charting at all is a good thing

Charting? 62 is barely charting. More importantly, what's out right now to keep it from charting? Scratch the fact is says "featuring Lil' Wayne" & it would be at like 92.

I swear Game brings out the inner-idiot in a lot of you.

Explain to me how 62 is bad for a street single that hasn't been played on radio, tv, or had any form of promo other than Game reposting the links on twitter...

How did It's Okay (One Blood) do when it dropped?  I remember that getting a shitload of airtime.

I heard that song on the radio every half-hour on two different radio stations.

& you know why there isn't much promo for it? Because Aftermath isn't going to do anything with it. You read the fucking thread, GB. Game is waiting until Detox because he can't accumulate enough fan support on his own. So figure Detox won't be ready for a year. R.E.D. won't be here for a couple of months after that. You really think some average street song that wasn't worth playing after the third time because it isn't catchy at all is going to last for over a year for R.E.D.? C'mon, son.

R.E.D. isn't dropping under Aftermath. I'm sure Game would want cats to believe he was signed to Aftermath again, but if you check the "Red Nation" copyright on iTunes, it's listed as a Geffen release.

I would assume Game  wants to put his album out around the same time as Dre, to capitalize off the buzz...which would be smart in a way, but realistically Detox is not official for 2011 until Interscope issues a press release announcing the date. Even with 2 singles already out...

#62 is not bad at all for a debut, but that's mainly based on 1st week digital sales, since it was officially released on iTunes last week. The important thing now is continued downloads, radio spins, promo, etc. If "Red Nation" falls off the charts in the next couple of weeks, Game's back to square one in a sense. Unless there's a hit record that's doing numbers and picking up momentum, I doubt the label will continue to push forward and lock in a release date. Then again, keep in mind this is more of a street single.

Well, you know that if this charted in the top 10, people would still find some way to hate. I agree with the numbers thing though.
