this is one case where I prefer the remix...the beat is just crazy 8)
always loved the original too though.
-
i agree.. the bass on the remix kicks in so hard
-
Yes that one and a couple of others on there, they got right
-
I agree with what all of you said. The dark grimy nstrumental matched Pac's vocals too well on the remix.
The producer of that track also did When We Ride On Our Enemies on Better Dayz, which I also feel was better than the original. Fuckin epic ass instrumental.
-
The remix of Street Fame was solid, but imo the Original Daz beat is better
-
Yes that one and a couple of others on there, they got right
in my opinion the following remixes on Better Dayz were improved:
military minds
street fame
still ballin (BEAT wise...i wish they kept Kurupt obviously)
u can call
fair exchange (the jazzy phae remix)
but they equally butchered some songs, like Mamas just a little girl, this life i lead and Never Be Peace for example.

I think the final mixdown of the original that leaked last year is better than the retail remix. Compared to the 98 leak the retail remix is better
I voted for original

Looking back better dayz was great. My block remix remains one of my all time favorite pac songs. Until the end of time needlessly butchered song after song. Why was the amazing hook of when thugz cry replaced with a horrendous hook, same goes with my closet road dog

Remix, the beat is fire !
