Gangsta Crunk
i bought RAW annd i seriously thought it was some of the cheapest material i ever heard there was like 2 or 3 good songs on it. i pawned it i dont see the love of that album.
-
^ nigga you like gangsta crunk but not raw? Geez dude get a hearing aid installed.
Raw and this is the life I lead were crack. Daz was grimey as fuck on those 2 albums. If you could mix those 2 into 1 single lp it would be a top 20 west coast album ever

surprised @ So So Gangsta making the top for some of the members. to me, it's a caricature of a good daz album, most songs are entertaining and the production is polished but the vibe isn't right. money on my mind is a slapper though.
1. R.A.W.& RR&GB
3. This Is The Life I Lead
These three are way above the rest
then I'd put
4. DPG Lp (cohesive album, love the vibe)
5. DPGC U Know What I'm Throwin Up (I preferred the 15 track version that came out in australia), most of the beats (only 1 is produced by daz) are fire from Fredwreck, Mike Smoov, Meech Wells or Soopafly but Daz only came correct on a handful of tracks like I'll beacho Azz, u Ain't Shit, Who Dem Niggaz, or I Got That Fire, other than that his raps are all over the place and sound too rushed.
Other albums range from "ok" to "mediocre" IMO. I Got Love In These Streetz EP was very interesting but the LP didn't really hit home although it contains good tracks (Feel Me, I Can't Spend The Night, Gangsta Summer). Gangsta Party isn't as bad a people make it to be, I liked the songs with Quinn, Spice, Joe Budden & Jagged Edge, E-40 but it looks more like a cash grab than anything else. Only On The Left Side is alright, half of the songs are decent. Public Enemies has very good production on it but Daz is def not on point. Matter Of Dayz has a good potential but sounds too rushed. and D.A.Z. is just too cliche for me, Daz is over as a rapper. I understand his way though and I respect his putting out albums regularly but he really should stick to producing and try to develop other artists, or just dorp instrumental albums lol.
