I was a huge MK fan growing up.
This game looks sick! I just ordered it from amazon.com

Getting my copy today, can't wait ;D I've seen the story mode & was wondering if that was actually cannon? SPOILER I mean they killed off like 90% of the characters & then you got stupid shit like Sindel killing all the good guys with such ease WTF??!! You play as Cyber Sub-Zero to beat both Kintaro & Goro in one fight & then later on Zero gets killed by Sindel with 3 shots with the last one being a friggin' uppercut????!!!!!!!!!! OMG that is so ugly & the endings for the ladder mode are totally different than story mode. Example: after saving earth Liu Kang becomes a elder god & turns into a bad guy & then Shang Tsung kills him to save everyone?? Ahh whatever *Rant mode off* ;D Still can't wait, Noob Saibot FTW!!

Got this when it came out and have been playing it ever since. Game is tight. I just finished the story mode, last night.

lol i fully agree with u. its cool how shinnok comes at the end....sets it up nice for the next one.
Raiden will revive all the fallen soldiers i'm sure

Never really liked Shinnok but yeah I was surprised when I saw him. Lets say everyone gets revived, how are they gonna bring back Sub-Zero?? The original is now Noob Saibot & the younger brother turned into a cyborg. I don't think it will settle well with fans if the next MK game doesn't have Subsy the ninja. Oh yeah, the game friggin rocks 8)

Smoke is already cheap with the moves he's got, he really doesn't need the spear.

Thats the last thing I'd want him to have while playing against other people who use Smoke. They're all lifeless spammers who just teleport & use that stupid fireball. They all play the same.

By most MK fans he's viewed as single-handedly the most powerful & cheapest character in the game. I always was a Smoke fan myself - both the cyborg & human versions but here I hate him. Also I do block alot but then again blocking won't win you the fight. The moment you move they (players online) teleport or throw a smoke bomb. I've gotten better & win alot of games playing against peeps who play as Smoke but still, I HATE fighting against the dude.
This is all im playing at the moment, great game.
Oh hell yeah, I haven't played any other game since I copped MK.
