SMH what ?

Phil was starting Luke over Trevor in 09 until Luke advised Phil the team would benefit from starting Ariza

Phil was playing Luke over Ebanks all season ( even before he went out for injury) whereas the kid was showing great things on the court and had Trevor Ariza 2.0 written all over him

Don't act like Phil has not given the edge for Luke (who doesn't belong in the NBA anymore ) over better players for no B-Ball related reasons

SHM @ Phil still playing Walton. Why does it feel like his contract never expires?

because it' actually NEVER expires ... Luke took the notion of "contract year" to a whole another level .. I will give Mitch a pass though since he made some great moves ... NBA GM just get fucked on a regular basis .. I can't believe how dumb they are ... but you may have not seen the best yet ... Blazers are currently thinking about giving Oden a 4 year/40 Million new deal ... it would be the worst FO move of the NBA history in my book

^If oden can stay healthy, it wouldnt be that bad......

but yea, this could be a blessing in disguise for the Lakers....Artest has been shit on offense, and his defense hasn't really been needed in this series, considering the Mavs don't have any great scoring wings.....maybe matt barnes will actually do something with starter minutes?

I expect him to have a big game ... he's very good at cutting to the basket , I think he will benefit from playing off Pau and Kobe in that regard , plus the Mavs are going to pay little attention to him defensively ... if he can gives us 12-15 pts , it would be huge ... his hustle on the glass and overall energy may boost the rest of the players 1st unit

Regarding Oden , he can't stay healthy AT ALL ... I'm not giving this guy who missed 2 complete seasons out of 3 a huge contract

The fact that dude gets playing time period is a joke. I wouldn't give him playing time on ANY team, let alone the most stacked team in the league (Lakers).

He wasnt gonna be a beast no matter what. At least not offensively. He would have been a good defensive guy, and on the boards. But I didnt see him really averaging more than 15 PPG.

he wasnt horrible at offense, dwight averages 20 and he cant even create his own shot,  he was better than dwight on offense (lol who isnt?) and had that baby J too. and with a line up of lamarcus im sure it wouldnt be too hard for him to get points off a lamarcus double team.

if it wasnt for injuries this team would of been a contender, i mean they "were"
