Here is the official press release from Sleek Audio today announcing that it would no longer be pursuing a partnership with 50 Cent for a new line of headphones.
Palmetto, Fl. May 6th, 2011 – Sleek Audio today announced the termination of the Brand License Agreement between Sleek Audio LLC (“Sleek”) and G-Unit Brands, Inc. (“G-Unit”), 50 Cent’s licensing company. In addition, the Brand License Agreement, including video production, between TV Goods, Inc, Sleek and G-Unit has also been terminated.
“We will be re-evaluating our Wireless Hybrid over-the-ear headphones at a later date. Currently we are working to bring our new, U.S.-made in-ear products to the market,” said Mark Krywko, CEO of Sleek Audio.

This was going to be a fail either way. They were going to cost twice as much as the Dre headphones & give you worse quality. The only positive was that they were wireless, which would actually wind up being a con later because you'd likely have to keep getting new batteries for it.
Not to mention, not only are the Dre Beats cheaper & better quality, but they are the most trendy pair of headphones to have, like Skull Candy was before that.

So 50 basically got a chunk of change for featuring non-existent headphones in his videos for a few months?

unsure about that statement...according to representatives it was 50 that terminated the deal
