I ain't gonna lie, the beat is pretty sick.
-
Where are u detox haterz ? U shut the fuck up right now ?! 8)
-
Dre's come back promotion is going well. ;) Who knows for how long are they going to run it.
-
Maybe it's the beat from the supposed Dre & 50 track?
-
i'm not gonna lie, the beat is wack
-
i'm not gonna lie, the beat is wack
lol, not even. Sometimes simple is better.
-
i'm not gonna lie, the beat is wack
troll ::)
-
Dre steady dropping this weak shit
-
beat sounds alright, a little over the top but decent instrumental. scott storch?
-
Pretty nice beat, sounds more like the Topless, etc. vibe that was going on before
I kinda wish Dre would use instruments that sound like real instruments like he used to do, like this would sound a lot cooler with real strings instead of the synths he's had lately
-
i like that them put Kendrick Lamar in the video
-

Yep agree...and as a simplistic uninspired loop its nothing to get excited about.
It ain't shit til someone spits over it Dre..just sounds like a promo or a ringtone.
-
Btw, is that Kendrick Lamar @ 0:34?
-
no its not gd...these types of dre beats are not gd...witht he crunchy sound effect kind of ting...totally ruins it
-
def a dre beat
-
damn that shit weak detox is gon be weak all you stans are really slobbering all over his dick whenever he comes around, its like a bigfoot sighting
-
Dope melody to me, but yeah, it would be altogether more dope if it used live instrumentation. As it is, it sounds cheap and slapped together. Compare how this hits to the live instrumentation of "Fight Music," for example. Compare the strings of this commercial to the strings during the verse sections of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oc7ulZ4eNlQ
Live instrumentation such so much better and hits harder.
-
Sounds kinda decent if you ask me. The melody when it builds sounds better and the keys don't sound as amatuer as some of his recent shit. Maybe he got a good musician back in there with him lol, nah i dunno, that sounded a bit better than some of the shit dre been dropping if you ask me.
-
it's more of that symphonic shit that i was anticipating
-
"If you're waiting for good things to come your way, you'll be waiting a really long time"
In his dr pepper commercial didn't he say "slower is better, trust me...I'm a doctor"?
Geez this dude is making jokes about him taking a decade to finish an album smh lol
-
i'm not gonna lie, the beat is wack
troll ::)
so because someone doesn't share the same opinion as you it makes them a troll? ::)
about the beat though, i find it's really nothing special imo.
-
read people speculating the beat could be from the track with dre/50...if it exists. has that type of dramatic club vibe...like a more finished 'come and go'. and i think the instruments are still 'live' sounding, just a different type of sonic quality than before...more crisp and airy. they are still high quality sounds, but yeah this beat isn't that good as it is. could make a good track tho? kush sounded nice on the beats ad but didn't translate to a great record.
-
What little of the beat you can hear in the commercial sounds nice IMO. :o
-
Dre steady dropping this weak shit
Yeah, "fa-shizzle, my nizzle". ::)
-
Fuck Detox, keep dropping these commercials Dre.

Nah but callin this beat " wack " don't make any sense.
-
Damn, that beat is GARBAGE.
-
This beat is nothin special. And f**k "This is L.A." while not keepin it west. Ridiculous Dre, ridiculous.
-
Commercial is good! The beat is hot like the old Dre from 2006 .This Forum is full of dumb heaters
-
Definitely sounds like Storch had a hand in it. I'd like to hear Detox on this kind of vibe
-
I think this beat is way better than the ones that leaked, like Chillin or Mr. Prescription
-
This needs to drop properly
-

I like this beat more too.
I could imagine Game on it.
-
I heard this beat is from the collabo with 50 Cent
-
Beat sounds perfect for one of those Eminem ''I'm stronger, recovered, better then before, rise to the top blah blah...'' songs.
Jimmy Iovine whipping Dre into an advert tool for the corporates.
-
Anyone convert it to mp3?
Even tho it is weak.
::)
-
Beat knocks hard.
-
Wow this beat sucks !!
-
Anyone convert it to mp3?

At least it's better than the recent wack leaks like "Chillin" and "My Precipitation".
-
LOL @ Shannon Brown being in the commercial.
-
i'm not gonna lie, the beat is wack
more dark bland orchestral bullshit.
-
Where are u detox haterz ? U shut the fuck up right now ?! 8)
yeah cuz an unfinished decent instrumental from a commercial is going to change what we know about detox ::) groupie
DetoxIsn'tAMyth: OMG I HEARD A NICE BEAT IN A COMMERCIAL THAT FEATURED DR. DRE!!! DETOX WILL BE A CLASSIC FOR SURE NOW!!!
-
Due to the over effecting Dre's drums lack fattness these days.... looks like they prefer flatness over fatness on Aftermath... They really should think twice before they put all these fx on drums next time... just my opinion
-
its alright, sounds plain, made for the commercial probably
-
sounds nice
This beat is nothin special. And f**k "This is L.A." while not keepin it west. Ridiculous Dre, ridiculous.
what's keeping it west to you?
anyway, he's still working with west coast artists.

To half these cats here, keeping it west is making music that reminds them of a style of music that was only popular from 92-96. Dre will never make G Funk again and people need to accept that. His music has been evolving his whole career and Dre was only making that sound for 3 years out of a 20+ year career.

yeah some of his best work was pre Chronic Era. Alot of his work after 2001 has been dope as well (Documentary, Relapse etc)
back to the beat, nothing mindblowing but it is decent
