Title: Daz Dillinger featuring Kurupt- Our Daily Bread Appreciation Thread

One of the ILLEST Dogg Pound tracks. I rarely hear people mention this track much with them. Great beat, and both did the damn thing lyrically, especially Kurupt.

yep, Kurupt may have been at his peak lyrically on this album. Initiated is another track he murders.  Later that year he dropped Kuruption! and it seems he took a step back.

that may be because RR&GB contains material not only from 98 but from the earlier DR days...

I think they got a 2nd wind once Pac and the Outlawz came on board. Seemed like the label as a whole did.

Death Row 96-98 was underrated IMO

Well according to Daz there were alot of sessions that they did where no songs were really meant for a particular album. I have heard Initiated was originally planned for a Thug Pound (Outlawz/Thug Life/Dogg Pound) album and then I seen that track on a One Nation bootleg.

I think if you take all the songs on compilations such as The Last of tha Pound, 2002, various soundtracks there would be enough material for another album, maybe more. Would've been dope

There's still enough unreleased Dogg Pound tracks in the Death Row vault for at least 3 more albums. Unless Daz stole 'em. But what people don't realize is even with the ones he did take, he most likely didn't take the master and safety dat of each track. So in other words, even if he did take the master tape of a particular track, WIDEawake most likely still has the song in some form.

Also, this song was obviously recorded in '95.
