do you think BLOODS or CRIPS represent it better on the mic and why?
-
smh
-
through the years which side do you think has represented it better? the crips had an astonishing run but now bloods has emerged from the shadows with guys like game and weezy...who do you think through the years has held it down better?
-
All I know is that RED is a popular colour these days, compared to BLUE in the 90's.

Crips
There run was soo much better. Snoop, kurupt, and xzibit had everybody c-walkin and what not.
As excited as I was to see some blood niggas finally get on I'm not too happy seeing niggas like shawty lo, birdman, wacka flocka, and the rest of these fags red raggin it. Worst part is real bloods are accepting these guys (game worked with all 3, menace worked with wayne). Atleast mitchy clowned wayne in his verse on "blood niggas".
-
IMO..they shit mo raw thats it.
-
To me the only Bloods & Crips rappers were those featured on the Bangin On Wax Saga and signed to Dangerous Records.
Lil Hawk & Cixx Pacc are up there.
Oh, and Quik.

I say the winner of this fight will answer this question.

All that gang shit is played out. There's too many fake Bloods in the game nowadays, compared to those from the 90's like DJ Quik, 2nd II None, B-Brazy, Redrum, Big Stretch, Lil Hawk, Bloody Mary (basically the whole Bangin on Wax crew).
Now we got Game, Lil Wayne, Birdman, Wacka Flocka, Gucci Mane, etc... It's sad that most of em only started claimin Blood after they started their music careers, whereas most of the Crips have been since their teens or even earlier BEFORE their rap careers, so you know who's real and fake. I also realized that most of the "Blood" rappers these days are from the South?
Jay Rock is one of the only real Bloods from the new era that I know of, and Mitchy Slick. It's a shame that they work with all the fakes though.

Tuff one because I am an actual fan of both. I work with mostly crips & I have found that most have the have been more subtle in their representation. Where bloods are mostly puttin it up front with their blood this & soowoo in every song so it may be over kill of representation. It all depends on how you listen.

up
i think the bloods are slowly closing in the crips run...what do you guys think?(http://img823.imageshack.us/img823/8554/enycehat.png)(http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/7466/mikejaccson.png)

Snoop was a Crip but got famous by signing to a Blood label. The only color that counts in business is green.

Well Game and Wayne/Birdman etc are claiming really flagrantly to huge audiences. Which is something I guess. Especially if you're trying to recruit children to do your dirt.
But when you say running the streets I'm thinking something more along the lines of this album: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3y2odKrxjWg

this post is legit
then you got your gangsters like E Money Bags who never claimed a particular set but were gangster as fuck (ask Nas and Jigga about E Money Bags, they both feared him and thats how he got put on in the game). E Money also gunned up Preme's best friend (Ghetto Q'uaran) which is sadly why E Money got killed later.
and with the internet existing now it's impossible for rappers to get away with claiming a gang they aren't in or else they'll get jumped and put on WSHH

you already know its crip 4 life
