Title: was d.o.c. considering working with eazy and ruthless again?
Post by: GangstaBoogy on June 13, 2011, 01:00:44 PM
As I said the other day in a different thread, I found about 20 media disc full of shit at my moms house and I been going through it lil by lil since then. I found that old classic radio arguement between eazy e and death row and noted something interesting...

Quote
Daz: aye my homeboy d.o.c. over here givin us the real
Eazy: I talk to doc all the time, that's my homeboy
Daz: you don't talk to doc, the doc don't know you

^ headscratchingly stupid comment by daz, but continuing on...

Quote
Doc: hello
Eazy: now that's doc. What's goin on doc?
Doc: what's happenin?
Eazy: nothin much...you ready to do this?
Doc: huh?
Eazy: you ready to do this?
Doc: do what?
Eazy: that work we talkin about
Doc: aww c'mon eric, don't play stupid with me on the radio
Eazy: haha alright I know what's up. Anyway let them get on the phone and speak they peace

What do you think? Was eazy full of shit or did he really almost blow doc's cover infront of his new homeboys?

bonus material
Daz: when you can sell a million records you can come talk to me
Eazy: who?
Daz: you
Eazy: daz...come on, you talkin to the wrong fool
Daz: no you talkin to the wrong fool nigga I don't sold more records than you ever sold

^ this interview was in 93/94 right? So even this early in his career daz was bragging off snoop's fame? Talk about paving the way for the tony yayo's of hip hop lol

But eazy checked his ass real hard when he said "did you get paid for it? You aint had a million dollars so that let's me know you don't even get 25 cents a record" lmao. Sounds like eazy knew nobody was getting paid over there (maybe doc was tellin him?).

Daz is a funny dude tho. The part with layzie bone was priceless...

Layzie: ima tell you about the real
Daz: what's that?
Layzie: ima tell you about some trues from cleveland
Daz: I aint ever been to cleveland
Layzie bone: [long story] if you a true...
Daz: [...] I'm a gangsta
Layzie: you a who?
Daz: that shit is in cleveland cuzz this is long beach.

I think Eazy was just bullshittin, but who knows...

All I know is that Eazy checked them fools on the radio lol. Those comments Daz made were ridiculously stupid.

I remember listening to this and thinking damn Daz is an idiot (more so than I already thought he was). Eazy & DOC come across so articulate compared to that fool Daz... Even Kurupt sounded more peaceful and respectful.

no, in one of the interviews with The D.O.C. ( i think it's the one from thaformula) he says he traded his publishing royalties for some jewelry.
now the story is obviously bullshit, but this is one of the examples of The D.O.C. talking bad about eazy.

anyway, in that radio show, eazy was using slang. work=cocaine

Don't see much of a reason for Eazy to want to work with D.O.C., his voice was gone plus DOC's partly responsible for Dre leaving Eazy as well as him being the reason Suge came into the picture....

I wonder if Eazy meant the post-Ice Cube N.W.A. Eazy was planning that Jerry Heller mentioned in his book (the one which was to consist of Eazy, Ren, Dre, Yella & DOC)....

there were never plans to include The D.O.C. into NWA. dont know how you got that from the book, i read it too. correct me if i'm wrong though.

anyway, i think the d.o.c. would have had more chance to drop a 2nd album on ruthless, than on death row.
i mean jerry claims he made an appointment for the d.o.c. for some type of therapy for the voice: he didn't show up though.
also, i remember reading that the d.o.c. said that jerry & eazy were very supportive after the car accident. not sure where i got that from though.

Nah to me (and this is all speculation) it sounds like maybe eazy and doc had been discussing reuniting, maybe doc writing for eazy again. And eazy put it out there and doc froze up.

Why would eazy be talking about cocaine? Dude didn't pay any of his artist, he was rich as fuck.
