The N.W.A reunion didn't happen because everybody was signed to different labels
The Dre/Cube album didn't happen due to The DOC leaving Death Row and taking all the songs he
wrote for Dre with him. Later he would release his own version of the album. It was shit :\
And who still cares about Detox?

Whatever Earl Hayes debut will be, if it ever comes

But, word to that other duke who said Dr.Dre been through some life experiences that could make music seem insignificant

Not even sure why I am responding to this silly ass post..It always amazes me how a dude pretty much put the West Coast on the map world-wide with all the massive, ground-breaking artist, and music but can never ever do enough while a dude like Quik can put out average to at times mediocre albums and get a free pass constantly. Dre ain't what he once was but to say he don't care cause certain albums were not released is just silly. Somebody tell Quik to stop rapping on his CD's and pay some real MC's and rappers please.  Maybe his shit would not be so damn average.

oh btw, something most of you fail to consider is that there are a lot more personal things involved in the music than you think. at least that goes for quik regarding the hi-c or suga free album. dre is just jimmy's bitch tho and most probably licks his hush puppies every morning.

Give me Heltah Skeltah, Chronic II, Not These Niggaz Again, Last Days Of Brian Bailey, Oh My God, Reformation and the 2002-2005 version of Detox, everything else could take a back seat.

LOL@the notion that Dre owes anything to his fan base.   How about integrity?  Shouldn't we applaud Dre for his integrity after all these years.  He could of just been putting out trash left and right and sold platinum 1X or had 12 more gold records to his name, maybe even release an album every Tuesday like Master P.

Upon releasing the Eminem Show, Em had said in an interview that his strategy was always to try to top himself.  And the day he could no longer top himself was the day he would retire.  He continued to top himself for about another year with his work on the 8 Mile soundtrack, but then he knew he had finally dropped a brick with Encore.  But he just couldn't give it up.  He had to put out Relapse even though it was way under par.   Em could of retired in his mid-30's and gone out a legend with a near-flawless catalog.  But like most artists he kept putting albums out and this can damage his legacy.

...Dre on the other hand, is around 50 years old.  He's already achieved his dreams and destiny in the music industry.  He doesn't owe anybody anything, and he still has the integrity to not put music out there unless he knows it is up to standards.

D.O.C's "Helter Skelter" was dope as fuck.. tracks like "From Ruthless To Death Row (Do We All Part)", "Brand New Formula", "Bitches" and "Return Of The Livin' Dead", those are classics.
