so snoop is supporting new west artists now..

He's always been bringing new blood (no pun intended) to the forefront, for years, going back to the LBC Crew (Bad Azz, Soopafly, Lil C-Style, Techniec) & Tha (original) Eastsidaz (on Death Row), Latoya Williams, E-White, Bad Lucc & Damani (Westurn Union) Tha Hustle Boyz (D-Dimes & Mac Lucci), Pilot, with more or less success but he let all of them share in his spotlight, & don't forget producers like FredWreck & Terrace Martin, a young & very talented director by the name of Dah Dah who also handles the "We da West" brand now... or how he made Problem & Nipsey Hussle household names with "Malice" & "More Malice".
So saying he's not helping the young ones out is pure & complete, utter BS!

Do you do publicity for snoop? Lmao @ problem and nipsey being household names.

Snoops a shitty CEO, always has been always will be.

Shitty CEO I completely agree but that's probably because he's got thousands of others things on his mind, so yes he should let someone else handle THAT work, but that doesn't mean he didn't have all these people record with him, in his studio, to be featured on his albums or compilations or soundtracks or mixtapes. The tracklistings never show Snoop Dogg SOLO.

& I don't have to "do publicity" for him, he's doing it himself, I'm just mentioning what's obvious to anyone looking.

Unless you think I invented all of it & made these names up just for the hell of it?

Soopafly was not a member of the LBC Crew. You can't be serious about that Problem and Nipsey Hussle shit though.

But he was involved wuth it, producing & featuring. Weren't Problem & Nip featured on the albums, on the videos, on the dvd? To the mainstream, that's close to what one could call a major break, don't you think? If it went platinum how many of those people would you say had never heard about them before they got that Snoop record?
But that's not the main point. The main point is THE WHOLE OF THOSE NAMES. & The fact that Snoop does not hesitate to feature young talent- when they have talent!

Snoop showed game major love. He shows a lot of people love. But when they're signed to his label lmao good luck. He's worst than jay-z

Jay has multiple artists go gold and platinum under his labels. He's a better CEO then most.

^ the roc-a-fella success was clearly dame.

And the roc nation thing is already established artist (kanye, rihanna)

Remind me what happened when he was ceo at def jam?

He released and signed numerous platinum and gold artists/albums as president of def jam.

Rihanna, Rick Ross, young jeezy ,ne-yo, nas, kanye west,Ghostface killah, jadakiss, the roots,The dream, fabulous etc Name one other label that had that kind of success during this era?

And since he's left def jam has gone straight downhill.

i think, Jigga is known for bein a bad CEO. LL Cool J and others complained about lack of promo.
IMO dude served more as a "poster"-name as a CEO, he understood it as well - n left in due time.
granted, Jay found this singin ass bitch Rihanna (n shes been succesful), but other than that..

Jay has multiple artists go gold and platinum under his labels.
???
how? u mean he singledhandedly bought 100000 and/or 1000000 copies of the albums?

The people that complained were washed up rappers making mediocre music that wasn't going to sell shit.

Snoop has a verse on that new OFTB album. Let's listen to that instead.

Snoop's been known to say he "supports" an artist when that artist's buzz is at it's peak or getting close to it's peak. If Snoop really supported K. Dot he would've said that when the world (and this forum) found out about when he and Dre went on a date...

but like i always say..........If it is "Snoop Dogg Presents"   then you know it's good.

he has good taste in music
