I'm surprised no one (message boards, news outlets) has noticed that 2pac's "Greatest Hits" album was certified "Diamond" a couple of weeks ago (June 23, 2011).

CTRL+F and search for "2 Pac"

all eyez should have been certified diamond way back in 2000 but death row stopped paying for the updates on all of their catalogue
-
it isn't actually diamond, but congrats to 2Pac :raisetheroof:

Is that why? I was wondering about that.

yep
who fucking knows how many copies of Pac's 2 albums, the Chronic and Doggystyle have been sold since they stopped keeping track :grumpy:
-
Yeah that sucks that some of our all time greatest albums aren't being properly updated.
-
They would still have paper work, and be able to re-certify albums, but it's all down to additional money they don't want to part with

your kind of right, it sold over 5 million but since it is a double album it is counted twice because of the higher price as well. Same with AEOM.
