Freddie Fox was on WBLS ripping in to Benzino. Benzino was on tehre acting liek he wasnts to be the savior of hip hop. Freddie Fox basically caale dhim out o nhis mission. He basically made these points:
1. Why is Benzino crying about a white boy running shit when he got a white boy running his label?
2. There is no problem with white people doing hip hop. If it wasn't for the strength and power of hip hop, Eminem wouldn't be accepted. As long as Em is not disrespecting hip hop or tryingto act better than us, then there's no problem.
3. Also in regards to Em getting paid and other rappers suffering because of his success, Em gets almost teh same publicity money and album spport as Snoop and NElly so... IF Fat Jow and Busta don't sell as much as Em, maybe it;s becuase their shit ain;'t hot. Also he saids white people are gonna buy more of white shit. Peopel support their own.
4. IF Benzino really wants to get after the industry, then go after Lyor Cohen (Def Jam), Tracey Cloherty (Hot 97), who run the system?
5. Black people don't have to worry about Em taking form Black people because we are steady robbin' and shooting each other. Benzino and these other black rappers make crazy loot and don't give back shit to the community.
6. White people can't help being white. Theylove hip hop. If white people are buying my shit and putting money in my pocket so I can eat, I ain't gonna complain.
word up Freddie !

Yup. It's good to see an artist speak out for hip-hop and not just for his own selfish reasons.
