The Cool Kids debut album "When Fish Ride Bicycles." I'll admit I'm very new to this group, but I've heard one previous song from them (Pennies Remix feat. Ludacris & Bun B) that I thought was AWESOME and still bump to this day. That, teamed with the fact that I've heard the name quite a bit (they seem pretty critically acclaimed), I've decided to check this album out.
I haven't heard it yet, but here goes the official thread for us to discuss :)

shame that we've already heard half of the album. good thing is that half is fucking DOPE! (roll call, bundle up, gas station, summer jam, swimsuits and penny hadaway are all great joints)

I just got around to listening to this album right now. This is really fresh! These guys have such a cool unique style, reminds of something old school
1. Rush Hour Traffic - 4/5. Nice opener, very unique sound.
2. GMC - 4/5. Cool hook, funny title haha. Nice concept, very different. Consistent sound
3. Boomin' - 4/5. Again, there unique sound continues and it meshes well.
4. Sour Apples - 4/5. Nice collab with Travis Barker. They mesh well
5. Penny Hardaway - 4.5/5. - Dope collab with Ghostface
6. Bundle Up - 4/5. "away game white baby blue Houston Oiler" 8)
7. Gas Station - 4/5. Bun B's flow is so clean here. Very nice track once again.
8. Get Right - 3.5/5 Cool track, summer fast vibe. Least favorite track though. By no means a bad song though. I prefer the "sound" of the other tracks to this.
9. Swimsuits - 3.25/5. Again, a faster vibe similar to the previous track. It's cool but I prefer the vibe of tracks 1-7 more.
10. Roll Call - 3.5/5. Nice posse cut. The sound is back to the consistency of the first seven tracks.
11. Summer Jam - 3.25/5.Has more the vibe of tracks 8 & 9. (no surprise, as Pharrell is involved with track 8 and this one). It's a cool closer.
Overall this is a very fresh sounding the album mainly broken into 2 types of unique sounds. 8 tracks are very mellow and chilled out, and 3 tracks are faster with a summer vibe that is still quite unique. So overall, I would say The Cool Kids have two sounds that are both unique to them.

Pretty solid album. I really enjoyed the first 8 tracks, and then the rest were average.
