First of all I know this Beef is dead and old, but I was listening to one of Bishops old interviews and he had some interesting stuff to say about Game.
I started when Game took shots at Bishop on "The Funeral" for reasons unknown but I'm sure it had something to do with Bishop tryin to calm down the Guerilla Black situation.(On radio Game was dissing Guerilla Black sayin he was tryin to copy Biggie).

Bishop didn't fire back straight away. He was asked about it in interviews and didn't have anything bad to say about Game (Not straight away that is).

Nah man. That's the funny part, I'm glad you brought that up. I never got to speak on it, because Dre was like "Don't even respond." Everybody at the label was like that, and I wasn't going to respond in the first place, because it made me famous! I was like "Woooow!! Dude just made me famous!!" I was taking a bubble bath when I got the phone call about that! I was like "Yeah? Ok, that's nice." But I never got to see dude. As a grown man, I can understand friendly competition and what he was going through at the time, so I didn't really trip. I talk to his mother all the time, his sister, his brother, his family! So I understand the bigger picture, and I didn't even trip. Then when I started seeing the interviews and what he was saying after the fact, then it became a grown man issue. Cause he was like "He better sit down and swallow it" and this and that. Then I wanted to f**k him up, and I wanted to take him pay-per-view, and we could get money and we could box! We'd get Don King, it would be fresh! *laughs*
That was pretty much that. Cause I've never been a hater on dude, and dude knows me, and I've done nothing but support him. We're trying to unify this West thing, and whatever situation there was, I was always trying to intervene. When him and Guerilla Black was going at it, I was trying to mediate that. Anything going on anywhere, I would mediate it. So then when it came on me, I had to make sure I was responsible on my decisions of how to deal with the situation. So then when I heard him on the radio apologizing, I was like "Aw chuuch, I appreciate that". But we still definitely gotta sit down and talk. But I appreciate that. Because at the end of the day, he made me more famous by saying my name. I was like "Yo, you just helped me! I appreciate that!" I wanna send him a box of wine! Seriously!
And when Game was asked why he took shots this is what he said:
Because it's gotta be a certain respect level out here. Niggas gotta stop running around acting like - This is what it is right here man! I brought the westcoast back, and niggas better start respecting it. Niggas keep talking about westcoast unity, and we need to bring the westcoast back. How the fuck you gonna do that without acknowledging the ni*** who put this shit back on the map man? Stop disrespecting me and taking away from what I did. It wasn't easy, I did that shit man. Where the fuck was niggas at when I was grinding for the west? Niggas wasn't doing that. But now niggas wanna hop on the back of the mothafuckin choochoo train and act like they did it, or I never existed and I'm not here breathing putting it down for this shit. I been going hard on everybody out here spittin this westcoast shit man! Niggas is still hating and don't wanna give a ni*** props.
I read some shit that Bishop said online man, it upset me and I put that out there. But that was just a warning. That wasn't nothing personal. Just take that, swallow that and sit down before you get slayed!

Not 100% about the order or timeline but after that Bishop Lamont dropped "Missile Testing". Killing two birds with one stone he goes at Game and Snoop (not a full out diss, just warning shots). Genius move as there was also a slight riff between the New West and Old West (basically Snoop and Cube).

The reason Bishop was now firing back at Game was because Game said Bishop had to swallow his disses.
Then in a long interview Bishop goes into detail:

Hard to see what exactly happened but XO posted up pictures of bite marks on his chest and he supposedly got sprayed by security after the fight before running off.(who knows?)
Then a while after Game must have heard or seen what happened and was not impressed by XO because he then put out an embarrassing autotune freestyle called Red Rockin:

^^^Garbage compared to Missile Testin imo.
Since all that it seems to have died down and Bishop has said that they are family and will collaborate on a track in the future.
What I thought was interesting is that in the HoodHype interview, Bishop said that Game got signed because he had that Biggie flow (which is kinda true if you listen to his early stuff). And when Game was in development (when Dre coaches you and tries to develop you as an artist), Game copied Joe Beasts flow which is why the first two verses on "Start from Scratch" sound like Joe Beast (which is also true, he does sound like Joe Beast but it could just be that Game sounds like that when hes drunk).

BTW I'm a fan of both Game and Bishop and hope they collaborate in the future.

Jay-Z's debut album came out in 96 and he was around for several years prior. He's an OG.
Bishop didn't diss Cube. Practically everyone else in the new west did though. He did diss Snoop, mainly because Snoop dissed him first. I'd say that's a legitimate reason. What's Game's excuse?

I've never read the exact diss, but Bishops diss to Snoop is a direct response: "a legend's dissing me on the internet"
Most of the new west has dissed Cube, so unless you've lost respect for all of them, I don't think you should be going at the guy who was going to diss Cube then decided not to :D

I'd say bishop is better than average and Game is just plain average. Game has somewhat better delivery. But he also has some of the most boring lyrics I've ever heard. Too many verses about impalas and chrome hydraulics, and waaay too much namedropping.
