But yeah, I feel ya. I got love for most everything assosiated with dpg or the math, but I don't get the peeps that limit thier listening to JUST THEM. There is so much more out there to listen to.

A lot of people here also seem to only listen to artists from Cali. I understand that westcoast and gangsta rap is your flavor but I'm sure you're missing out on some good stuff you might like from outside the west.

I try and send blade, doggy, tom, etc. etc. songs on AOL all the time, and they don't even want to hear it. I don't consider yall all idiots because you sleep on the music I like. It's just your style , you like a certain type of music, I like a certain type of music. No big deal, maybe one day we'll both listen to each other's music more.

Y'all know that I'm always checking that dope underground sounds outta L.A. Most of this is really dope. Snoop's last album sucked mainly as a west coast album, not as a hip-hop album. The underground is always coming with some heat. Especially the chicanos are good and they still use the old g-funk sound quite often.

The Homie SGV is right. I listen to things out side of DPG and Aftermath. some real GEMS come from out side those camps. but there is one thing I am guilty of. and that is not listening to anything out side of Cali. besides Red and Meth, East Coast can take a shit in it's hat for all I care. it's not that I hate on them. it's just that West and East are SOOOOOOOO different in style, I find it hard to jump from coast to coast like that. I mean, I am a BEAT kind of guy. true the east has some very talented emcee's. but there beats are just wack. hope none of all hate me for this. lol. and I do give props to peeps like Nas and Big(RIP). but I just don't feel that style. so I don't waste my time even lookin at it. so yeah. guilty as charged

then again when it comes to latino rappers I cant stand them one bit, I dont even own a cd by a latino rapper and probably never will but then again everybody has their likes and dislikes ;D

what i'm tripping on is why people ONLY choose to listen to rap, it's like FUCK , everyone here is basically craving for the next doggstyle and chronic or whatever........but wont give other genres a chance, when truth be told there's 10,000 albums out there that are just as good as doggystyle and probably more that are even better, it's like damn no one's going to put you in jail for listening to something new

I haven't liked ANYTHING that dropped from Aftermath other than "King Ts-Thy Kingdom Come". I haven't listened to Dre 2001 in about a year and a half.
As for DPG alot of its hit and miss for me, some is great others are average.

if u wanna get the information you guys are learning during ya explorations out to more people find a conduit for getting it there.
i've listened to a bit here and there... but i dont know what steps from the points i've been at lead to more similar things.. off the top of the head i've been bumpin fo clipse, self scientific, people under the stairs... maybe grouping this stuff on a site or however will help people branch to similar things.

The Reason why I dont read these threads is because most of the people having love for underground artists gots hate for commercial music... I think its a kind of frustration, because their favorite artist didnt sell... Im like the average WCC member, I love Aftermath, DPG... BUT I still listen to Kurupt & Crooked I and I dont scream Fuck Death Row.. I didnt like Snoop's last album but I want it to sell because I respect the fact that hes trying to make something different .. not only that "93-94" G-Funk... (West Coast Fans are 10 years late, thats why an artist is considered fake in the West if hes changin his sound).. Nate Dogg, my FAVORITE artist... I heard 2 songs from his new album and I DONT like it, because this shit is nothin new.. That G Funk is gettin played out, it can be good if the beat and the hook are originals, but when it's not, it makes u feel like an unreleased song from 1992.
My point is that if u want people to respect ur opinion and read ur post, u have to respect other people's opinion.. I mean there can be over 30 fuckin reply's to a thread stating who is the worst westcoast rapper, yet a thread about someone not as popular as say snoop or eminem, gets maybe 10 reply's. And then a lot of u say that there is no good westcoast artists out there. I made a thread about if the wc will ever see the sucess of the past. Like a quarter of the people replied by sayin that the wc doesn't have any good artists right now. And then I bet you at least half this board checked out truth hurts album-just because it is aftermath affiliated, but won't check out a lot of other artists who dropped much tighter albums IMO.
