I wanted to put Top 5 Bay Producers but then I wouldn't have been able to include BLH or Big Hollis. I know Rick Rock, Shorty B., Bosko and Funk Daddy are from Alabama, D.C. and Washington but they're heavily associated with Bay Area music so I included them in the poll. I know Zaytoven's associated with South music but he started with Bay artists so I included him too.
I know I put over 50 names but I just wanted to be accurate lol. Let me know If i missed some of your favorites.
I'm gonna put some of my personal favorites and explain why and post a song they produced for each of them. could have been others but that's the ones i'm thinking of right now
1. Khayree. Multi-instrumentalist. Peep this Young Lay unreleased song featuring 2pac, Ray luv & Mac Mall

2. G-Man Stan. Amazing producer and guitarist.

7. Mike Mosley & Sam Bostic. i could have mentioned them individually but I'm running out of spots so i put em as a team.

8. T.C.. Incredible producer from San Francisco. Did stuff in the 90's for 11-5, UDI, CWH, etc.
http://www.youtube.com/v/Tjp325_B0jE
9. Cozmo. One of the hottest producers today. Produced songs for some south artists as well (MJG, Lil Flip, Bun B, Devin the Dude, etc.)
http://www.youtube.com/v/3WsUm-P3qBk
10. JT The bigga Figga. Maybe not the best. But the jazzy/funky productions he did in the mid 90's are some of my very favorite productions ever.

that's very true. i was bumpin' Times R Getting Crazy just today (from Mac Dre's California Livin' EP) and was like damn this shit still sounds very good today, shit must have sounded sonically revolutionary when it came out in 1991.

good call lol, i tried to think of as many producers as possible but i knew i was going to leave some big ones out... he should of course be among the first names that come to people's mind but that's not the type of rap i listen to very often hence my forgetting to mention him. i know of smoov-e through dre dog but i never really listened to any of his stuff and didn't know he was a producer as well, my bad.
-
too many niche producers to be throwing everybodys guilty pleasures on here.
