Please explain me the word "legit" or "official" that was used by someone else.
It`s not released by Kurupt or tharow so it cannot be legit or official......just one of these bootlegs.
Its NOT the cd that Kurupt is working on.
-
LoL...This is gunna sell like 6 copies...
-

looking at the tracklist, there only a couple of songs that were truely unreleased.
01.) "Intro"
02.) "Load Up" [OG]
03.) "Now What" [feat. Roscoe]
04.) "I Call Shots, Part II" [feat. Young Assasins]
05.) Interlude
06.) "Gangsta Noize" [feat. Roscoe and Tristar]

09.) "U Ain't the Homie" [feat. Daz]

12.) "Bitch, Bitch, Bitch Make Me Rich" [OG, feat. Daz and Too $hort]
13.) "What We Go Through" [feat. Warren G, Daz, Bad Azz and Malik]
14.) "I Keep Tryin'"
15.) "Where Ya Headed"
16.) "Don't Go to Sleep" [remix, feat. 2Pac and Daz]
"Load up" ---->same lyrics as Daz
"Now what" and "Gangsta noize" ---->were on G-TV bonus disc
"I call Shots 2"---->on Roscoe's album advance
"On my way" ---->leaked on the other "promos" and was on a Space Boogie promo (not 100% sure if on it though)
"Money to fold" -----> released on Tha Last Meal promo
"U ain't tha homie" ----> most likely the song wit Crooked I as well which was leaked years ago
"one,two" ----> released on Everlast's 2000 album "Eat at Whitey's"
"Gangsta Perogative" ----> released on Daz's last album as a bonus track
"What we go through" ----> released 6-7 years ago on a single from Warren G's second album
"Bitch Make Me rich" og ----> prolly the same with load up
"Don't go 2 sleep" ----> leaked on the ill fated Makaveli and Dillinger bootleg
the only two tracks which haven't either been previously released or leaked are "I keep tryin" and "where ya headin", and if one were to hear them, they were prolly released. For Toon, as well as Daz and Bigg A to say it was all new material is absurd.
on a side note, i posted this at Tha Row's forum and mypost was deleted, so it makes you wonder if Kurupt is pulling the same shit Daz did in 2000 with RAW

i want 1....... where can i get 1
me too
peace

Young Kapone: Keep Trying is also previously released. It was on some compilation way back in 98, that also had We Came To Rock Ya Body by The Click and DPG on it, forgot the name tho.
-
yup toon from tha DPGforum comfirmed it that its all unreleased material and its legit!
Toon didnt confirm all the tracks were unreleased, he confirmed it was a legit release tho on Trigger Men/Dogg Pound Records

keep tryin has been out for a few years now.

nice cover art 8)

any channel on MIRC ?
i cant find it anywhere.
thanx
-
Well this is obviously just a bootleg which is being released to make more money off of Kurupt. It's just like that Young Gotti Against The Grain shit that came out on MIRC a few months ago, just another collection of previously released songs and shit. Is Dogg Pound Records just Daz trying to make it look as if it isn't being released by him, when in fact this is just longhand for DPG Recordz?
-
damn some of these tracks are really old...i've already listened them out...who released this....i sure hope kurupt didnt have any say in it
-
Damn this is the same shit that happened with the Makaveli/Dillinger EP. I can't be 100% sure, but I kind of know someone who works at a lil mom & pop shop and from what they told me DPG Recordz is the one who dropped the Makaveli/Dillinger EP bootleg and the new Kurupt Against The Grain CD just released. Right when they suddenly started carrying a lot more DPG Recordz products the Don't Go 2 Sleep EP popped up. Of course it was labeled Pacaveli Recordz so no legal action could be taken against Daz. Same with this Kurupt CD except it says Dogg Pound Records & Triggerman ??. Theres another store I always go to for DPG Recordz releases and they both had the Mak/Dill EP and the new Kurupt. Daz basically made money off all the people who pre-ordered the Mak/Dilli EP and from what I heard it ain't gonna be released now, since he made even more money selling it at lil record shops. Now he's making money off Kurupt. I may be a big hypocrite for buying both, but I like the music. peace!!

I finally received this incredible album, its tight as fuck. Sure, alot songs are previously known, but its a good mixed cd, I bump it 24/7 right now.
