Post by: Lil Jay on January 19, 2003, 04:47:51 PM
GANGSTA ADVISORY RECORDS
In 2003 DPG Recordz will become a sublabel of GANGSTA ADVISORY RECORDS. So all releases from here-on will be labeled GANGSTA ADVISORY/DPG. All releases will have the DPG marking and the Gangsta Advisory logo.

GANGSTA ADVISORY LOGO

SHADY N DAZ
Daz is currently in the studio working on new beats for SHADY RECORDS.

50 N DAZ
Expect to see these two guys together a lot more in the coming months. DPG Unit?? The first project from 50 and Daz will be a track featuring 2Pac. We will give you details on this track when it comes closer to completion. The track will make its debut on WHOO KID mixtapes. The next will be a diss song. 50 will take his usual shots at Murder Inc and others, while Daz will take shots at Benzino, Murder Inc, Death Row and possibly Jay-Z. This is only the beginning for these two collabo-wise. These songs are gonna shake the nation.

NEXT DPG PROJECT
Next project we will be releasing is 'DPGC You Know What I'm Throwin Up'. Daz posted a track list for this at the DPG GANGSTAVILLE FORUM a few weeks ago, this track list has been changed! We will update this week with a new track list along with the cover art. This will be the first project released under the marking GANGSTA ADVISORY/DPG. We are securing a new distribution deal for this release. We wanna do things right and get this release in all major record shops.

DAZ GOIN MAJOR
This is still a GO. Daz will be going MAJOR as a SOLO ARTIST. We are still talking with a number of a labels. We cannot announce where he is going til things have been negotiated.

THA ROW KILLA
A snippet of the song was featured months ago on this web site. Then a larger snippet appeared on DJ WHOO KID's mixtape. Now we bring you the FULL VERSION.

LISTEN TO 'THA ROW KILLA' FULL VERSION

DPG RECORDZ SALES
In the past 4 Months DPG Recordz released 4 products. All four combined pushed 400,000+ units! This is with distribution that was half-ass.

INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION
DPG Recordz is currently looking for International distribution. We are looking to get our releases in Europe, Australia, and Asia. E-mail me at kronik@dpgrecordz.com if you can distribute our items in that region.

Daz steals Suge's masters, goes to Em and Dre and cuts a deal, "I'll put 50 on a joint with pac, if you put me out on some Shady shit"

Daz's stolen masters may just put 50's name even more out there while also getting Daz known more out in NYS.

RIP Tupac!

while Daz will take shots at Benzino, Murder Inc, Death Row and possibly Jay-Z

More PR-stunts..
And why Jay-Z of all people, when he claimed to have signed with Roc a while ago?  ::)

But if he really is signing with a major.. I guess these disses are stunts to create buzz around his ressurection as a somewhat mainstream rapper.. (If the "major" isn't ThaRow, LoL ::) )

I can see a future in Daz being Eminems right-hand, as Eminem is to Dre now..
Daz is a good producer, and with the finances of Shady Recs. behind him, he might get a much larger audience to his beats, and maybe a few guest-verses on some Shady-releases..

^^^^^^  and for the record, Better Dayz was trash and so was every Suge sponsored remix of a 2pac song (with the exception of friends). "First to bomb" "Don't Go to Sleep" and "Only Move for the Money" are some of the best posthumous 2pac records we've seen since Still I Rise, so SHUT THE FUCK UP about Daz using tracks. The two producers 2pac worked with the most while on death row were Daz and Jonny J.
I just don’t get it, why do people bitch and moan about this when we're the ones getting served all this great music? To me its a no brainer... Would you rather we left it strictly up to Suge and Afeni so they can bring in shitty ass producers like Darren Vegas, EDI and Jazze pha to do beats? while featuring artists like Nas, "T.I." (Whoever the fuck he is) and TRICK DADDY!!

Or would you rather the music be done by a credited, established artist of whom 2pac respected and recorded a significant amount of music with? I just don’t see where the fucking problem is...
