yeah thats right... I believe the Game Don't Wait Remix was the only time our dream of everyone being tight knit was even approached... even then the only real missing pieces were kurupt+daz.. but we had Dre, Snoop, Warren G, Xzibit + Nate on one song.
How badly was this opportunity missed? they did a video.. the single was hard to get, not promoted that well.. most people dont even know about it.
and they never put it on an album.... jeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzz
-
Dats rite, it was only on promo cd available. Same shit happened to Tash's G's Iz G's Remix, featuring Xzibit, Kurupt and Snoop Dogg. Not available on an album or released as a single. They also did a video for this with less promotion. Very strange thangs happening in the world of rap. ::)
-
damn yeah i forgot about gz iz gz... i got the video for that shit.. was that a promo cd only thing too? i have the warren g one thank god :)

dre, snoop, warren & nate dogg..... yes that a dream team. BUT fuck xzibit. hes gettin on my nerves. daz & Kurupt would be dope too yea ... but this track/beat isnt really made for the DPGs.... they should be in the video tho.
-
xzibit was tight as hell in that song.... where he is at now is another matter.... dont trip on the past just because of the present.

maybe he was tight in that track for peeps who like him. I never liked his voice, flow, style. thats how i feel. the only shit i felt was his part in kurupts "step up". that was pretty cool ok.

i didnt sleep on it...i got it on mp3...its dope

Ha I remember that video. I saw it in Rap City early 2000. Tray Dee was up in there too.
Man, it is too bad the West cannot be so close nit like they use to be. :'(
-
That song is class, one of Dre's best beats and one of Nate's best hooks imo, and everything else was just perfect. That song should of blown up, that could of done wonders for Warren G's career too if it was released properly.
-
I managed to get the Blue Vinyl of 'Game Don't Wait' with Clean, Dirty, Instrumental & Acapella versions for the original and the remix! That track is HEAVY.
Peace.

Yea I remember when that shit dropped it was the hottest song that came out...No doubt. The video was tight too.
I think the key to bringing everyone together is Dre of coarse.....And I must say, I am very dissapointed in the Doctor since 2001 dropped....He forgot about all his homies and turned "Industry". I look at it like this; if anyone like Snoop, Daz, Warren, Nate or Kurupt called Dre and said they needed some work for the album, Dre wouldnt make time for them.....why? Becuase hes too busy making records for Eminem, 50 cent, Rakim, Eve, Busta Rhymes ect ect.....Thats really sad IMO......Also IMO, Snoop and all the DPG's are much better under Dre than Eminem or 50 cent....
-
^ umm ..
he made a song for Nate, a song for Warren G, for snoop on last meal, snoop didnt want him on paid the cost...
so thats just kurupt who got fred wreck to imitate the hell outta dre on his album.. and daz was still dissin him... so ???
-
they always got songs like this from DPG but i guess since dre isnt on it it isnt complete 2 sum people ;)lol

ok you got a point.......but the tracks he gave nate and warren were below average.....do you think snoop didnt want dre on paid tha cost? or maybe dre didnt have time to sit down with snoop and make some music? my point is just that altho dre's still making tight beats, it hasnt sounded the same since hes been working with all these new cats....i still say the best dre track since 2001 was "the wash".......and look at all the promotion that song got?/ instead they put out "bad intentions" which wasnt even produced by dre, then Knocturnal's album turned into shit shortly after...
-
They shoulda jerked X off, and had Kurupt do a verse, he was tight with everybody then.

17. Dr. Dre & Snoop Dogg "The Wash"
Produced By: Dr. Dre & DJ Pooh

LMAO @ "Lookin at you" being "below average".
Anyways, Seer is right, this video was how all Westcoast videos should be..
Dope cameos, dope video.
Simple to make, but yet so effective.
I bet they didn't use more than a day on this video, and yet it's still so dope.
Xzibit, Dr.Dre, Snoop Dogg, Tray Deee, Warren G, Nate Dogg..
Throwing up some 213 & Westside-signs, bigging eachother up, and a few hot chicks..
that's all you need for a video..
-
Even Jayo was in that video! It was before his beef with Snoop. But yea that was a good time for the West, there was a couple posse cuts coming out like Where I Wanna Be, Chin Check, and some more. Game Dont Wait was just a classic record imo.
Even though commercially these tracks didn't do great, it was a good time for the West Coast fans like us.
