I had never heard of 11/5 , but i saw this album for sale in bozeman montana of all places for $30 , i talked the record store owner down to 15 but if i would have known it was a certified bay area classic i would have gladly paid $30 for it. every track bangs from start to finish, i might even put it on my top ten all time. when i first popped the cd in the deck and that "11/5 on the inside" track started, i was like awwwww shit this is DOPE! and it never let up. had me rappin "Kill a hoe kill a hoe fuck that bitch" by the last track lol. what does everyone else think? this album gets heavy rotation for me.

grew up on that shit. its definitely a personal classic to me, check out a1 yola too its even better

yeah i was gonna ask how the other albums were, i bought that black c and tayta tay collabo album and it was weak so i'm not blindly buying albums anymore. but a1yola sounds good from the amazon reviews, when did it come out??
-
probly 95 or so, its real good definitely one of my favorites. yeah its nothing like the black and taydatay cd that shit sucks minus one or 2 songs. same with taydatay's solo shit. the hangover is pretty good too, not on the level of the first two but still worth buying. and the first collection:bootlegs and g sides is worth it too
-
and i dont know if youve heard of it but if you like 11/5 and rbl and all that shit definitely check out cold world hustlers' iceland. classic shitt
-
na i never heard a that but i'll check it now and add it to the amazon list if its dope, thanks
-
lol i thought about doing the same thread when i saw someone on the forum with the fiendin 4 tha funk avatar...
bay area classic no doubt. grew up on their music. 11/5 on the inside is definitely one of my favorite songs off of the album along with Garcia Vega, Browsin, the title track and The Way That I Was Raised, not to mention the indispensable classic Kill-A-Hoe.
A-1 Yola is cool too, but I prefer Fiendin'. Taydatay is a beast. his 98 solo album is very good too.
my favorite albums from the KAH family include UDI's Under Da Influence (95) and CWH's Iceland (95). Musically, it's the best rap music that came from Frisco IMO. No disrespect to 4-Tay, GLP, Dre Dog, Guce, Cellski or the IMP's but The Enhancer, Mr Laid, T.C. and Reg Race are incredibly dope producers/musicians and did their best shit with UDI, 11/5 and CWH.
I've always liked that Frisco type of rap with very musical and uptempo productions with fast flows.

yeah i fucked up the hangover was udi and the overdose was 11/5. they both came out around the same time. good to see other fools on here listening to this shit, i grew up listening to all that shit way more than dpg and dre and all that
-

lol are you kidding me ? 2/11 ounce of game is one of my favorite frisco album. too many slappers on that one. parlayin in the bay, nothin but a playa, ounce of game, envy ain't no remedee, etc.
-
haha allright i thought noone on here listened to this shit
-
actually i was a bit surprised when i first checked the forum cause i thought ppl would be into that type of music lol
-
95% of this forum is europeans who worship snoop dogg/dr dre and think california is only la county
-
yeah i'm a euro of a different kind lol. actually a lot of french dudes are into bay area/south/midwest rap as well, some are even into purchasing rare out of print albums for outlandish sums shit's ridiculous lol.

Theres alot of underappreciated bay albums, I've always listened to more bay rap than LA. Ounce of Game is another great album
