best part of interview
YGD Top Dogg: I talk to Tha Realest and all that; I talk to a couple cats, Crooked I. But I'm not really involved with any of their projects. I don't know why, but I don't beg either though. With me and Tha Realest, I know he's doin' his thing, but I kinda want to separate myself from that. I don't want to be no Snoop Dogg [and] 2Pac [copycats working together]. Really, we're cool, and we've got good music [in our catalogs] together and everything, but with me, I just don't wanna go back to mothafuckas wanting to compare me again
props enya

DX: You worked with hit-makers like O.F.T.B., J-Flexx, DJ Quik, and so on. What was it like working with Dr. Dre tracks, even if he was gone?
YGD Top Dogg: It still felt like he was there. Today, mothafuckas [aren't in the same studio, so] they email tracks. It's the same shit. [Chuckles] The track is still made by that person. When I was on Death Row, some of that shit I took for granted. I ain't gon' lie.
Don't agree with this sentiment at all. It's the same problem I have with that Crook track they did over "Next Episode". If Dre didn't touch the track after you spit on it or mix down the vocals, he didn't PRODUCE it.

yeah read that interview.a good one.
-
And if he ever tried to release it Dre would have that niggas gas & lights shut off lol
-
I could never get into Top Dogg's music, I find him really wack ::)
-
I think he should just leak them if he can't release them properly, or maybe he can put them on a mixtape?
-
I wonder how many other artists from that generation of Death Row (Doobie, Swoop G, Top Dogg, Tha Realest, Mac Shawn, VK, etc.) recorded over unreleased Dre beats.
-
hoe hoppin'...........over dre's hoe hopper beat probably
-
2 known beats. They were probably used by other artists, like mentioned before
-
kinda gay, to let random rap-kids jump on Dre-beats like that, without his aproval.. Suge :grumpy:
-
A Dre beat without a Dre mix is NOTHING.
-
Cool interview...but he's not a good rapper...
