Which debut album do you prefer?

This thread shouldn't have been made

Ah, a disappointment & an album with zero value squaring off.
The funny part is you don't know which album fits each label I named above. ;D

I enjoyed both albums. Greatest Story Never Told has limited replay value as it's more of a concept album. Cole World was good and exactly what I expected from J. Cole. I'm not gassed up about his lyricism like most people seem to be. I support his movement though but prefer other MCs out like Stalley.
Of the albums released this year I enjoyed these two far more,
Stalley's Lincoln Way Nights: Intelligent Trunk Music
Kendrick Lamar Section 80
But there's so much quality hip-hop this year from Reks's to Currensy's to Wayne to Kanye/Jay-Z. I don't see how anyone can really complain. Plus we got some more albums to look forward to like Ross's God Forgives, I Don't and Lloyd Bank's new tape.
50 dropped plenty of free tracks to comprise a street tape.
I wish Bishop Lamont and Stat Quo released more material (at least Stat was on Ski Beats 24 Hour Part 2).

Both albums were dope, people complain about the replay value of Sai's but I give it a spin every couple of weeks, Sai always comes correct and some of those Just beats were crazy. Cole's still getting burn too, exactly what I expected from him. Hard to choose at the moment

I love saigons album. One of the best of the year. Great production, good lyrics with an actual meaning behind them. Still bump it regularly.
I just bought Coles album today gave it one spin and I really enjoyed it. I'll have to listen to it some more but I was very pleased with it, well worth my money.

I didn't see how Saigon's album was a concept album....nor do I understand why concept albums would have less replay value than other albums. ???

It's about being a duke being locked up and the various circumstances/experiences that have shaped him. He's shouting out prisons in NY the opening track. Hell, the end of the album is a dream sequence.

Cole world. Saigon album was dope at first but lack of rapley value.

For a concept album about being locked up, very few of the songs have to do with that.
So how do concept albums have less replay value than regular songs?
