House music has always been big in Europe. Being in Pacha and El Divino since 2000, they have always played house music. Only in the past couple of years they've been putting out some Hip Hop music

david guetta isn't really house music. it's mainstream club/dance/techno music. that being said since 2008-2009 big us rappers have used old euro dance standards into their sounds which i fucking hate and some like BEP went have gone further than that and switched their whole style. but guetta has been huge since the early 00's over here.
