Truthfully I loved Raw Footage, Death Certificate and War & Peace Vol. 1....but that's 3 options ha.
-
Laugh now, cry later. Perfect mixture of smooth and club songs. All great beats as well.
-
the first 4 albums.
-
Death Certificate.
-
Lethal Injection is my favorite. Cube over G-Funk production was a dream for me in 1993 cause that was the style at the time :o
Death Certificate comes next cause that was my first Cube CD.

All! but "Iam the west" his worst album
-
I liked all of them as well but I am the West is my least fav for sure.
it's funny how a lot of critics say Lethal Injection was his worst but it had a lot of bangers on it. I liked it better than Predator but not as much as Death Certificate.
-
First CD I had was Bootlegs and B-Sides and I'd say of all Cube's projects, that's my fav.
-
the first 4 albums.
-
Lethal Injection has some jams but the lyrics are a step down. Basically it was Cube selling out and going with the current trends. I guess we shouldn't be surprised he's had southern sounding tracks on his last couple albums.
-
Death Certificate for me. But I do have a soft spot for Lethal Injection I have to admit.
Death Certificate followed by AmeriKKKa's.
-
I voted Predator. The sound, style, everything on that album is classis. It was also a great year for West Coast rap.
-
voted for Amerikkka's Most Wanted
-
Lethal Injection only beacause this was the first i had heard of Cube (when i was 14). I then started to pick up his earlier releases and these were all dope, but ill stick with Lethal Injection because it holds good memories for me.
-
first 4 albums are dope.... off course....
i voted for W&P2 as i loved that album most of his next 4.

How come you didn't like War and Peace Vol 1? It was dark but I loved it but didn't like the Peace disk. Curious to see what people think on that.

lol you're putting Cube's two hip hop classics on the same level as Laugh Now Cry Later and Raw Footage?
-
went for war and peace vol 2 - bumped this during a pretty good summer and always reminds me of it!
whats tracking??
-
In response to the whole War & Peace albums question, I'd say neither were great. The beats and lyrics don't really stick out for me on either at all.
-
never got into w&p1 i actually sold my cd after owning it for a week (i did later re-buy it- not as bad as i thought when it came out) , tho i bumped w&p2 all summer that year! and still could bump the whole album
-
"Lethal Injection" is my fav but I like all of Cube's albums exept for the last one... it got a couple bangers like "Hood Robbin", "Your Money Or Your Life", "Nothing Like L.A." but the rest is below Cube's ability - he can do better than that...
-
Actually, there is not 1 Ice Cube album that I actually bump. Ice Cube has a lot of songs spread out over his career that I've been a huge fan of. But not 1 of his albums has really grabbed me.
-
Infinite can't get into anything before 1996 and Cube's classics were made before then.
-
Death Certificate for me. I still remember copying my mates cassette on my little old stereo.

Nah man, 96 was just the climax. But it had been building since hip-hop started in the 70's. So by 94 and 95' shit was blazing hott... I got into rap in 93 with the Chronic album and then Doggystyle. And albums like Warren G's first solo in 94 were classics for me before 96 ever came. Some non-Death Row affiliated albums were also personal classics for me like Outkast SouthernPlayalistic... and Bone East 1999Eternal and nearly everything that was going on in hip-hop at that time I was a fan of in the few years leading up to 96.
