old news but does anyone have info on this? i heard he did a couple of songs for charmbracelet..

that shit could be hella dope...
heres the thing that caught my attention most in that article though..
"I think she can come back," he continued. "Her fans should allow her one wack album. They allowed me one."
ummmm which one of his albums did he consider wack around the time this article is dated? (august 2002)
-
Quik said that when the album does come out, Carey should be able to bounce back from the jeers she received over her last project, the soundtrack to "Glitter."
-
nah think you misunderstood what i quoted g....hes saying mariahs fans should allow her to come back after dropping a wack album, then proceeds to imply his fans did the same for him...
-
I always heard Quik thought Balance and Options was his worst album and he did a shitty job just to get off Arista. But man, that was probably my favorite album from Quik.
From a fan's point of view, i'd say he was talking about Under The Influence. That was one of his worst IMO.
-
yeah u can tell quik didnt give a fuck about balance n options..he shitted on marvin gaye, and smokey robinson and motown....on those motex skits
shitted on tlc with sexuality...
said a bunch of shit that got censored

Yes, Quiks doesn't understand that "B&O" is on the same level with "S+S" and "Rhythm-al-ism".
Let me quote you also for UTI.

That article is from APRIL 2002.
Under Tha Influence didn't even come out until June 2002.
