I'm not normally one to complain about sequels coming out, but I don't know about this. I'll probably get hate for this but I wasn't really impressed by any of them after the original.

Friday was the best no doubt,
Next Friday was actually quite good as well, and done very well without Tucker to the shock of many. Strong cast, understandable story line, flowed well, good soundtrack, a lot of humour and is a perfect sequel IMO. Not as good as friday (what can top that?) but still a very good movie
Friday After Next is the same, a good movie, funny, but something about it just felt rushed. The story seemed all over the place. There was too much going on, too many different characters being introduced. It was funny, and very watchable indeed, but doesn't have the appeal fo the first 2, and doesn't really seem to connect with the two whatsoever
This one needs to see the entire original cast from the first movie, with 2/3 new faces being introduced, (promising young football player, a wannabe rapper, and a big bad ass female) and a different story. Perhaps a baby in this one, something different to make it stand out on it's own

I like Next Friday most. Friday is good too but it has some kinda depressing vibe to me. The xmas bullshit in Friday After Next annoys me but hey maybe I'll watch it sometime next month.

But yeah, the Joker brothers definitely brought the humor that was missing from Smokey not being there, since DayDay alone didn't make up for it. Aztec warrior!
I was always thinking that a sequel would probably be called Last Friday, but with that kind of a title, it would have to be some flashback-type story like The Hangover.

If you look at Chris Tucker's IMDB, the guy has only been in like 10 movies in his whole damn career, which is lazy as fuck. Most people in the game as long as he's been would have a filmography as long as 30-40 films right now. He's not done anything since Rush Hour 3 either I don't think which was years ago. The guy needs to get back in front of the camera and make a classic. Could this be it?

There's that, and he wanted a lot of control over the Rush Hour films, especially the third one, which ended up being the worst by far. The deal he got for it was great for him, but ridiculous if you were anyone else involved... stupid amounts of money for something that frankly wasn't good.
I think the fact that Rush Hour 1-3 were the only films he's done in the past ten years (with nothing in between them either) speaks volumes. Personally I think he's washed up (as a lot of the "humor" in Rush Hour 3 was shitty anyway), but he'll still be a nice addition to Friday 4.
