I know that, but I rarely see him mentioned in discussions about (great) white rappers.

By the way what album of his would you recommend to start off with? I've got a few songs and features of him but never explored his discography.

I'd recomend you to start at his first from '00 "Rites of Passage". This song, however is from his latest album "Us" from '09.

Yeah I like Brother Ali, "Us" is one of my personal favorites  8)
