Title: Special One from The Concious Daughters passed away... R.I.P
Post by: Mietek23 on December 11, 2011, 01:50:55 PM: According to various sites On December 11, 2011 Special One (real name Karryl Smith) tragically died.

R.I.P S1

The Conscious Daughters (TCD) was a female rap duo, consisting of members Special One and CMG, out of Northern California's Bay Area. The duo signed in 1993 to rapper/activist Paris's record label Scarface Records after passing him a demo tape at a club. He released their first album, “Ear to the Street” on his Scarface Records label.

I loved TCD. Funky Expedition and Ear to the Streets are very dope albums. Love their song on D-Shot's Boss Ballin "She's so tight".
