The Conscious Daughters (TCD) was a female rap duo, consisting of members Special One and CMG, out of Northern California's Bay Area. The duo signed in 1993 to rapper/activist Paris's record label Scarface Records after passing him a demo tape at a club. He released their first album, “Ear to the Street” on his Scarface Records label.

I loved TCD. Funky Expedition and Ear to the Streets are very dope albums. Love their song on D-Shot's Boss Ballin "She's so tight".

underrated for sure

well if you think about it a lot of Bay Area releases from the same time period are underrated. TCD's albums got more shine than other dope albums from Oakland. they deserved it.
