Shade Sheist, Butch Cassidy & Knoc-Turn'Al have come together for the "remix" of Shade Sheist's "Wake Up." The track was premiered by Shade Sheist last wednesday on Power 106. According to West_C_Internal he was on the Big Boy show to unveil his latest record "Rude Awakening" which was originally just set to be a remix for the track off his debut album "Informal Introduction" however now will be a "return record" which will appear on the Baby Ree / Hoobangin release "Ghetto Gutter and Gangsta." The track is an interpolation of Mobb Deep's "Shook Ones" and both Shade & Knoc sound hard on the track, with Shade touching on his feelings and Knoc letting people know what he's done and what he's working on! Butch Cassidy has a great hook and you can also hear Warren G & OGLB on the record.
The other track we received courtesy of West_C_Internal was the Felli Fell drop which is actually a track Shade Sheist had just recorded with Damizza and Titus Fu*k. The record is on top of 50 Cent's "In Da Club" and also interpolates an NWA record. The track starts with words from Eazy-E before Damizza & Titus drop their lines. Then Shade attacks individuals he choose's not to name and leaves us wondering who he means. As Lil Jay and i discussed we decided to premiere one track each and so i would imagine the Felli Fell track will be up over at www.westcoast2k.net very soon! :)
Id like to once again thank West_C_Internal for the audio and the information. Although we dont usually promote MP3's i feel its better that all visitors can check the track rather than the few, so get the track, enjoy and then make sure you pick up the release when it hits stores!
Visit : www.dubcnn.com for the track ;)

It's way too early to say Shade and Knoc have fell off, because the other part of your statement was more accurate: They haven't even started yet. Don't join the Hate Brigade and count them out so soon, they will reign supreme. Mark my words. Every meaningful artist from the WestCoast has declared Shade Sheist to be the future of WestCoast music (like it or not.) Only those artists who feel threatened by the way Shade and his BR corporation tend to make situations seem so easy, will say otherwise. It's not to say Shade Sheist will be the King of the WestCoast, in fact I doubt that's what he even wants, but he will play more of a major part in repairing it's tainted status. If you all only knew some of the MAJOR contributions he and Damizza have made to prevent the demise of WestCoast music as a whole, you would have more respect for them. Hopefully one day they will write a book and reveal what I am talking about. But until then, do what you do, and let them do what they do.
For those who have heard Rude Awakening, please post your feedback on it.
