He's working on 'Napalm'...
-
He's been working on Napalm. It's about to be released in top of the 2012. From what I've heard from a people close to him, there's Scoop DeVille, Dr.Dre, Chill, Rick Rock, 1500 or Nothing, Travis Barker, Symboyc 1 and few others on production. "Napalm" single wich is set to be released soon features Travis Barker on the drums and it's produced by 1500 or Nothing. Video is recorded in Iraq last year. When I asked his DJ about features he said they have everybody on there I can't even imagine, but they hope they'll have Snoop on it too. More infos soon.

I forgot to mention it but yeah, King was there as soon as they started to work on "Restless 2 by Dre" then it's renamed to "Napalm". But yea, King is on there. I just hope that track is gonna make a final cut.

sounds good!

Yeah X is working a lot on Napalm, and as it has already been said, the album is gonna drop on top of this year... i think he said in an interview in september or november that the album was 75%.
You can always checkout his Twitter @Xzibit , He's really active on there 8)
I'm sure it's gonna be dope!
-
I just reminded myself his first version of the album which was supposed to be called MMX like the year it was going to drop. So Xzibit is putting an album out for 2 years now. Still i think he will make it sooner than Dre, looking forward to it no doubt.

Supposedly he's back in the studio to make money to pay off his huge IRS debt
I don't know, do rappers really make any money from their albums these days? Digital media has kind of fucked that up.
...If he really had a huge IRS debt to pay off I'm sure he could pay it off faster by just doing some shows out on the West Coast and over in Europe. Or maybe catching another movie/TV role. X is one of my all-time favorites, but the only track he's made over the last several years that I really liked was "Thank You"

Thank You was a dope track for sure!!! But X hasn't released an Album since Full Circle which contains Thank You. But this new album Napalm, i'm sure X is gonna bring some heat for us!

Digital media has fucked it up, but it's at least better than before. Luckily, something like iTunes has become mainstream to the point where some people will at least buy some songs, compared to when people would just download it on Limewire or something. They just won't have the same over-the-counter sales numbers that they had before, though at least they don't have the production costs of pressing albums since digital downloads are basically just digital duplicates.
Regarding the IRS debt (which I read was well into the six-figure range around $500k), it's always due to bad financial planning and poor money management, but part of it was because Pimp My Car got cancelled. Doing shows won't wipe his debt clean, especially considering the costs of doing it compared to the money brought in along with the net profit in the end. It's not as if he is going to sell out big venues across the world. Xzibit certainly has a fanbase, but it's not nearly as big as most big-name rappers, and he'd need to be a part of a tour where it's headlined by someone else for it to be on a bigger scale, but then when you're not headlining, you're getting a smaller cut of larger profits... it's a toss-up.

From what I've seen he just bought a Buggatti. And we all know how much does it cost. But fuck IRS. I think he's gonna handle it anyways. I'm more interested into his music. Like someone here said, today is IN to say "yea my new album is dropping in about 2 months" and in reality that album never comes out. First it was "MMX" thanks god he change d it. Then it was "Restless 2 by Dre" and that knocked my head out. Like DRE? Really. I know what most of ya'll are sayin' Dre ruined Xzibit, but again my friends, he gave Xzibit the success he deserved. And Xzibit and Dre... They have such a good chemistry. Dre's beats fits perfectly on Xzibit's rhymes, that's why I was like WHOA! But then X said to me via Twitter he changed the title of it to "Napalm" because Dre told him you're tryin' like do somethin' what's long time ago done. Don't do that. So now, he just uploaded a picture of "Napalm" single wich features Travis Barker on drums (produced by 1500orNothing) and that's it. Matt Alonzo showed me some pictures of video being done, and I was very much suprised btw it looks. If song doesn't succed, at least video will. I've asked Symblyc 1 did he produced somethin' for X and he said he did, Chill did some beats, Dre did some beats, 1500orNothing did some beats, Beat Butcha did them too, Jim Jonsin, and few of them more... So what we need to expect? A banger. Straight West Coastish. Xzibit doesn't make music that's gonna make you dance.

I looked it up just now, and I don't think that he just "bought" a Bugatti, though it may have been delivered to him recently, since all reports are from the past week or so. With the Bugatti Veyron (and a lot of other supercars and hypercars), a lot of them are custom-ordered and on a lengthy waitlist... there's not exactly a Bugatti dealership with a parking lot of for-sale Veyrons that you just walk through and pick one to take home. It's possible that he may have ordered the vehicle that long ago before his problems with the IRS came about (as even some Ferraris that are far less expensive and produced in greater numbers have two-year waitlists) and just continued with his order anyway. Looking at the old news, the reports of Xzibit's IRS debt is from December 2010/January 2011, mostly showing amounts of around $960k, give or take. So yeah, it was probably bought before the issues arose.

He had a show here in Sydney end of last year and there were probably only 300 people there, fucking dope though, he killed it. Looking forward to the new single, definitely be a first day purchase when the album drops
