I know he's never really been too keen on the spotlight and branching out and working with artists outside of California, New York, and Detroit but wassup. Why doesn't he work with newer artists like Tito Lopez and Big KRIT more and just do I for the love of the game like DJ Premier and KRS 1?
Dude should get out more is all I'm saying. Where's the Dr Dre and J Cole collaboration or the Dr Dre and Tyler The Creator song? What about a Dre and French Montana duet or a new Dr Dre and Jay Z collaboration?
I'm tryna see more from Dr Dre besides just only Snoop Dogg, DJ Khalil, 50 Cent, and Eminem
-
pfft i remember seeing Dr. Dre promoting his headphones with Jimmy Iovene on ESPN during a regular season Yankees @ Red Sox series
it was pathetic seeing Dre wearing a Sox hat #smh
-
Actually, he's never had a problem working with artists from any region. When he was at Ruthless, he was fucking with D.O.C. and his Texas people. When he started Aftermath, his production team was folks from Pittsburgh. His Death Row camp of artists were all a lot of Long Beach artists and Rage who comes out of Virginia. Eminem, D-12, and Obie Trice were all from Detroit, as was Hayes. 50 and G-Unit were obviously from NYC. Truth Hurts is from St. Louis. Hi-Tek is from Cinicanatti. Stat Quo was from Atlanta. Dre has always been very diverse in terms of working with artists from everywhere.
I don't get the "get out more" idea. The guy is in the studio. That is where music gets made. It's not like he needs to network. People want to work with him. I make it a safe bet that the reason you're not hearing a whole lot of new shit with him as the credited producer is deliberate. '

I'm talking about nowadays, not from 1989-2004. The past EIGHT YEARS (yes it's been that long) that's all he's worked with is Storch, Em, 50, Jay, Busta, and Snoop on a song or two. Maybe if u weren't trying too hard to be a dick you would've caught that.

Tha last three are good things and I'm not hatin on dude for workin with Cali and NY rappers (good music is good music, word to TI) but it'd be nice to see Dre work with NEW people that he hasn't worked with too, like Drake ("look what you've done 2"), or Nipsey, or some other nigga. Just somebody new

Dre and nipsey could be dope.

they need to establish their careers first.
-
Personally, I think you need to get out more. And stop worrying about what Dr. Dre is doing. :-\
-
real question is: why doesn't arthur get out more 8)

J Cole wrote for Detox and the last one was Under Pressure for the Jay Z thing.
-
He needs to work with Gucci Mane! "Gucci!". Man I love that line.
-
Let tha hate reign!!
A Gucci Mane track would be pretty tite with tha right flows/lyrics/ and cadence. Same with a Juicy J feature
-
No hate here. Just a differing opinion. Some advice about life: not everyone who doesnt follow someone elses opinion is a "hater". Rappers hold too much weight in people's minds acting like and always talking that everybodys a hater that dont like my shit. Be your own person already.
Juicy J would sound good over a Dre beat imo.
-
so you missed the last videos with Tito Lopes working with dre?

Dre's always been a recluse. That's his character. It's how he stays above all the bullshit.

Dre is a legend and pioneer in the industry. He's earned the right to pretty much do whatever the fuck he wants to do. I'm sure listening to internet message board Trolls pitching him garbage Gucci Mane collabos is right up there on his list of things to accomplish.

Stop using the same excuse over and over again. I never tried to force my views on anybody, I just speak the truth. It's your sarcastic mindset and paranoia that has u thinking otherwise. It becomes hate when u do it and mention it over and over again. That's just a fact of life

The truth is Dre would never work with Gucci Mane or Juicy J or take advice from an internet troll who doesn't know anything but Fast Food.
-
Dre working with everyone if any of the Detox sessions are to be believed. fucking Barney the dinosaur has a remix track on Detox talking about how all the bitches love him and shit.
-
I never tried to force my views on anybody, I just speak the truth.
:D Harr, harr, classic Radiotube!
-
Dr. Dre could use a new mojo. Becuz if all im gettin is pictures i dont care to see and some random nerd struggling to sound tough or young then i don't care to see it or hear it. I'm over it. Dre needs to let me run Aftermath and me and Jimmy need to have a serious talk becuz that nigga ain't got it.

Youre seriously bonkers if you get that heated cause someone dislikes some rapper and you take it as a personal insult. Arent you the one accusing people of never getting out and experiencing life? Haha.
-
Trying to understand the Dre "needs a new mojo" theory. I"m not hating on you Bro but at this point in his career, DRe is now pretty much more successful financially and respect wise than he has ever been even without having to be on the charts. That is what it's all about in this crazy industry. Put in as much work as he has and now, just do You...Whatever that is and with Dre, it's the whole Beats by Dre thing, partying with Rick Ross or whomever (never would have done that years ago). What gets me about some of you dudes is that you want to act like Dre is just your average Producer from back in the day. Like him or not but dude is a true Icon who has set musical trends and at times carried the entire West Coast on his back....I say all that to say that he now just seems to be enjoying alll of it. Even if Detox never drops. Once again my man, I'm not hating on your post and I get your point but Dre seems happier than he has Ever been right now....To me, he got his mojo working pretty good.
