the question is who is greater(in ur opinion)

they are too equal in the talent they have displayed over the years to say that one is better then the other.

Nobody can fuck with a focused and hungry Cube. Hopefully, he'll bless us with another classic album...
-
most definatly ice cube.....viewing albums its tight but overall including all works cube is still the don
No doubt he is still an o.g
-
Rakim's been much more consistant and i think with two years work into it, it should be better than six months on cubes (i still think cube's will be tight though, just not as good as Ra's, he is after all the God)

Longevity - Rakim
Consistency - Rakim
Voice - Rakim
Flow - Rakim...very underrated, he switches up rhyme patterns all the time and does it so seemlessly
Delivery - Cube
Lyrically [complexity (vocab, rhymes patterns, multis)] - Rakim
Catalogue - Tie
Impact - Rakim
Working/Rhyming with others - Cube...NWA, Westside Connection, etc. compared to 5 songs that Rakim's done with other rappers
Freestyling - Can't judge
Battling - Cube...Difficult cause I'm sure that Ra can battle but he's never had a beef and Cube you can't be sure of cause he took on NWA and won but he got served by Common and Cypress Hill

Rakim - probably end up with more time to work on it and I don't think Cube has the hunger the made his early work so great (hopefully Dre can bring it outta him).

They're both pretty equal when it comes to talent, but Rakim's album will be much better.
Ice Cube doesn't really care about his music career anymore, he's just releasing another album so that he could have one extra album in his catalogue, and so he could work with Dre again. His movie career is his priority.
Rakim, on the other hand, is hungry as hell. He's on a mission, to reclaim the game, and who better to do it with, than the doctor?
