Anybody know if this is worth checking out? I'm kinda curious after reading the following:
"The Rhyme Syndicate was Ice-T's crew, and had a lot of respect in the early 90s. Some of the members of the crew included Everlast, W.C., Coolio, Lord Finesse, Divine Styler, Hen G & Evil E, Donald D, Bilal Bashir & DJ Battlecat among others.."
Any recommendations of dope songs/albums? Rhyme Syndicate & Donald D have a few albums:

I know, still, these DO feature Rhyme Syndicate members & ARE produced by the same production team.
Doesn't hurt for someone who wants to make an opinion, or does it? If it does, you DO have the power to delete my post? I leave it up to your good judgement. Me I know the tracks so either way, makes no difference.

To Cordozzar: Thanks mate! Some cool stuff I need to check out further. You seem to be big Ice-T fan? I never really checked Ice-T, I guess I should. What's his best album? Is the greatest hits album repesentative for his carreer?

Thanx for the appreciation! Never hurts to know when other peeps like what you share with them!
Fact is, I re-discovered his earlier catalogue through his tracks with DJ Aladdin who was WC's dj & producer, better known as Low Profile. Some of his tracks have that "take no prisoner" vintage NWA feel to them, like the track "Bitches 2".
He inspired NWA to tell it like it is & he was just as feared by authorities & hated by the moralizers of the time! That earns RESPECT. But some of his shit ain't that good, like the sound & style of Body Count is rather linear & repetitive. Even if the sole idea of having a Black hardcore/ punk-trash metal band was unthinkable at the time!
I'm not into "best of"s as a rule, I think I can safely say his most solid shit go from his debut up to "Home Invasion" & "The Last Temptation of Ice", from 1987 to 93.
If you gotta pick oly 1, it'll obviously be "Original Gangster".
He also released it as a "home video" with visuals for every track, that too was something new. But last time I checked, it wasn't available in dvd.
Last but NOT least, Don't ever think of his "Tutuola" character when listening to his music, it might ruin it!

Why? it's just a character. hes an actor - he acts (pretends) to be a police. What's wrong with that? Pac plays a police officer in one of his movies, does that goes for same?
As for Ice T albums i have to say that power is my favorite. rough and raw straight up and down and delivers more of a message but i understand why many ppl like the OG album, it bangs to. Everybody have thier own ears. But seriously, Power - check that shit out. you wont be disappointed!!!
it's always nice to see when ppl talking about RS or ice. He gets WAY to little credit on this forum. on the otherhand since it's more ppl overseas that hangs here it understandable. For me growing up in LA ill never forget when i pumped ice in my walkman

Yeah it is strange how little Ice-T is mentioned here or anywere in general. Everybody knows him though. When I was younger I sometimes found his music a little bit monotone. Of course I didn't know shit about music back then, so I need to catch up & check some Ice-T & Rhyme Syndicate asap. 8)

Ice-T album's (all of em) are GREAT!! !

To Gurfy, I understand what you mean, I simply think most youngsters disregard Ice-T's musical legacy largely because of that role, but who hasn"t watched "Law & Order" in our generation? Not to mention but his character (& team) catches rapists & pedophiles, & THAT is NOTHING NOT TO LOVE!
