thats insane...5 years ago, if u woulda told me tech was gunna work with the doors, i'da laughed my ass off. shit still sounds funny...dude is independent and makin bigger moves than 99% of signed artists. amazin shit.

but both of the rap songs that sample doors ive heard are dope: snoop "riders on the storm" and mac dre/forget who it was on a million dollar dream comp "show me the way"

yeah they´re nice. jay-z´s takeover samples doors´ five to one . it´s not a creative sample or anything but fits jigga´s rapping.


and sure, The Doors ain´t The Doors without Morrison , but then again these musicians are the guys who made all the music while Jim lived his part as a drunk poet rock star.
and though they´re all old farts (especially manzarek) this could still turn out interesting .
