Dr . Dre - I need a doctor gets my vote

That's the only Kurupt song I've ever seen on tv though.
I remember We Can Freak It and Girls All Pause getting play though... mostly on BET, but I do remember seeing them on MTV a few times.

But yes, "It's Over" gets my vote, more so than any other song.  It was a wack ass song in my opinion, but oddly enough, it did the job, as the song did get decent rotation on MTV and BET since they packaged it well, with the video having other Dogg Pound affiliates on it with Natina Reed, plus a bunch of C-Walking (which was getting popular around that same time) and even some rice rockets in the background.

You guys dont realize how huge and important those records were for Snoop and Cube at those stages of their careers.

Not to mention theyre both dope and can still be heard in clubs to this day

that ice cube was a crossover at the biggest degree!!! don't matter if it's good tho. but that kinda defeats the purpose of posting it in this thread.

I have to disagree on that one as i think both those songs are wack.
Yes its true that they did big things for Snoop & Cube but you can also argue that Kurrupt - Its Over did the same thing, i remember that track
having heavy rotation on the radio and music channels here in the UK but that doesnt make it a good track.

Thats just my opinion anyway, each to their own and all that  ;)

Part of the difference is that they weren't necessarily annoying to listen to.  Both of those songs still do get played every now and then (whereas I never hear It's Over), plus their song titles are still used... people do say "drop it like it's hot" and "you can do it, put your back into it" now and then, clearly in reference to the song.

Ahhh i dunno man, Drop It Like Its Hot annoys the shit out of me lol.

Its right what you say about them both still getting played in clubs today though, but thats
part of the reason why i nominated You Can Do It as a bad crossover track. They still play it to death over here lol

just cause a song still gets play doesnt make it better than it was when it first came out

Well the title says WORST and i think those are 2 bad examples. Crossover doesnt = a bad thing. The Kurupt/Natina song is a great example of a bad crossover attempy  A better example would be the Game f/ Justin Timberlake song that never took off. Or that punk rock song Lil Wayne had with Nicki Minaj ( or that awful How to Love bullshit)

Drop it Like its Hot & You can do it = great party records.

California Girls is a horrible example because its not a Snoop song. Should we include all rnb/pop songs that feature a rapper for 12-16 bars?

Even I Need a Doctor isnt horrible. Granted its not what we want from an album weve spent 10 years anticipating and it flopped pretty hard. But the concept of the song is dope and the hook is great.

So maybe you just don't like that genre.  I don't care much for it, but I know enough that a David Guetta beat with Snoop Dogg on it is going to get radio play everywhere.  This dance type shit is just really popular now, so that's just what's going to get put out to get into that crowd, which nowadays accounts for a good chunk of who goes to clubs.

Yeah, I forgot about that one.  And what solidifies it being among the "worst" was the fact that it wasn't really successful at all with zero replay value.

that Indicah track is still miles better than anything Wayne did on his rock album. At least Daz didnt have a fucking guitar hanging off his neck
