One of the best slept on westcoast albums. What is your favorite song nb offff the album.
For me its Bustaz.. The intro with the white guy giving the explination of a busta is a classic.
-
In my top 3 all time fav album along Nate Dogg's G Funk classics and Fo'Clips' Just Be Thankful.
Hard to pick a favorite song!! But I would say no order Get nekkid, I can feel that (just love how mausberg goes on this track) and Ring King.
But on a sidenote, when I am in a fucked up mood, I always put "My life goes on" on repeat et can listen to it for hours, so that might be my favorite!

I can feel that 8)

Had immense potential to go a long way, especially with the backing of such a great producer as Quik. Tragic!

overall a classic.
best tracks for me prolly i can feel that, any want u want 2. get nekkid, bank on it and no more questionz are up there too 8)

i can feel that, no more questionz, and mad like a pit r sick

Can't really decide for one track, it's more like a winner's podium for me without any particular order:
Any Way U Want 2 (classic talkbox)
No More Questionz (overall classic)
I Can Feel That (minus AMG's part, but even with him on it the beat is still pulling it to be an amazingly dope song!)

My Life Goes On for sho.

"greatest album ever" huh?
i dunno, some of u guys hype up albums alot, and that makes it difficult to give stuff an objective listen,, cuz the expectation-level is so damn high..
Nicck n some other dudes were hypin up some X-Raided albums like crazy, made me reluctant to even download the shit.
but i did, n luckily i enjoyed em..
ill check Mauseberg tho, thanks

to this day still havent heard this,
I thought you would have listened to this, and had bought 2 copy's by now lol
The album has that vintage Quik sound all over it from a period when he was doing Rhythm-alism, and more so Balance & Options, so for the production point, it's solid through and through with very few skip-able tracks. Some on here will claim it can be played from start to finish, and in theory it can be, but for me personally there's maybe 2/3 tracks I tended to skip back to when I had it on for a while
The rapping is good, but his flow is better and sounds right at place on Quik production... He was on that classic Snoop track "Don't Tell" so I guess in a way you appreciate and value it more than you would have back then with a feeling of nostalgia given that the entire album has flawless Quik production at his peak, and a feeling of "what could have been" when listening to Mausberg
Here's my favourites from the album:

Warren G and Quik should have done a collab album back then at that time if Quik's schedule wasn't so busy, that would have been epic. Both of them on production, and with Warren bringing in Snoop and Nate, and Quik bringing in El Debarge and Mausberg. Album would have been amazing had it been anything like that track
