Don't the Chiefs still have Moeaki? & Hillis will be a nice compliment to Charles.

Truthfully, I have them finishing second in that division. Give them Cassell, Berry & Charles back & they could be a force.

I think in the roles are set to play they will contribute greatly. I don't think either will have a great season, individually speaking, but both will add to the run and short pass game. Both are coming in with the roles of being the secondary guys at their position and they both fit the Crennel style of football well.

Had Peyton Manning picked the Titans or Niners I'd be calling for the Chiefs to win the West. You almost wish Tebow ended up in KC because with Tebow, Hillis, and Charles in the same backfield defensive fronts would be punished all game.

I'm not sold of Cassel at QB, but if the defense plays tough and the run game clicks Cassel knows how to be a game manager and I'd take him over a lot of QBs in the league in that role. And he has a nice pair of legs to run with too.

But Peyton's in Denver.

However I don't think that a wildcard is out of reach and they can certainly win against Denver in Arrowhead, especially if it's very early in the season before the Broncos start meshing right.

Here's the schedule

Home

Denver*, can win

Oakland, will win

San Diego, can win

Atlanta*, will win

Baltimore*, will lose

Carolina, can win

Cincinnati*, will win

Indianapolis, will win

Away

Denver*, will lose

Oakland, can win

San Diego, can win

Buffalo, can win

Cleveland, will win

New Orleans*, will win

Pittsburgh*, most likely lose

Tampa Bay, can win

So I have 6 wins next year as my predictions. If they can win those 6, and just get 4 of 7 "can wins" to come through that's a 10-6 record and a probable wild card.

I don't see the Broncos going less than 11-5, with a 12-4 or better as probable.

They ain't beating Atlanta either. I mean, anybody can win any random week. They beat the Packers last year lmao. But I wouldn't look at the Falcons & be like "oh, that's a lock".

Injuries. Injuries can completely alter a teams season. Nothing is for certain week to week.

I'm calling it now. The Falcons suck on the road in general and Arrowhead is extra hard. I'm also calling the downfall the Saints and Drew Brees will go back to SD Drew Brees real fast. Good QB but not good enough on his own to overcome what's going on in the Saints locker room right now. Unless of course they bring in Bill Cowher tomorrow. Then I'll change my stance. But just throwing in Spagnuolo or Carmichael to play filler will leave them with some nice draft picks when Payton comes back the year after.

Obviously this move to me at least locks them back at the the top of the NFC South, and puts them right back in the SB race.

Hillis is the perfect compliment to charles (someone already said that).  Hillis not being a feature back will only do him good (injuries, opposing d etc).

Peyton Hillis might be a HOF rb now cause of the cleveland curse.  Might get all healed up & never get injured again now.  Heck, belichick was the worst coach ever for the browns.  Ran the team into the ground, turned them into the Cleveland Clowns the AFC version of the 90-98 Rams.  He made Ray Handley seem like Vince Lombardi & now he's considered a great coach with N.E.
