Title: Beats by Dre HTC Mobile
Post by: V2DHeart on March 27, 2012, 02:25:50 PM
Just bought this the other day there. Came with a pair of beats in-ear phones. Audio is not too bad, and supringinly better than I expected for a mobile, but anyone else out there who has one had any problems with the wifi on it? I've had nothing but problems with it on that front

Another retarded purchase? I can't see how as I was using my last mobile as an mp3 player and docked alarm clock anyway. This just seemed to be the better upgrade choice for what I use it for. It was either that or the Sony Xperia S but the battery life on that sucks

WiFi works fine on mine, only issue I have is the battery, have to charge it every night. Audio is noticeably better than the iPod which is dope

I noticed that the sound quality was better than the ipod classic 5th gen. I also like the fact you can disable the beats audio if needed. Just upped the card to a scandisc 64gb, and the mobile accepts it (last mobile didn't accept anything above 16gb)

I've had a look online, apparently the WiFi is a known issue with these phones, although the majority issue being that you can't connect, or find a connection when one is present. No Kush or any Dre song pre-loaded onto the mobile from HTC though. You think they would have added in one of his. I got a bunch of crappy songs pre-loaded onto it including Alexis Jordan - Happiness.. Come on now

I've got a feeling a lot of rooted phones are going to be screwed up when they update to the new android version

most rooted phones cant or wont update if u rooted them right.

i rooted my galaxy wrong the first time and it tried to update itself and i bricked the phone i had to go through hours of diagnostic shit to get it restored back to factory state.

you dont have to use sync just open the phone up like it was a hard drive and drag and drop shit into the right files.

i see this coming to the iPhone because y not? its software right? nothing to do with the hardware I'm assuming.

given that android is an open source OS it figures they test it out with them first.
