Me Deuce.  But hes still the wackest WC artist IMO.  I never felt Mack 10 in general and his Cash Money debut was nothing short of BOOTY.  (rather.. it had its moments, but overall was a big disappointment)

I like mack dime and I think he is dope.  his last two albums were rather boring, but there were some hot cuts on his cmr release.  and he used to be really bangin back in the day.

Damn, I'm surprised to hear a big O.G West Coast Head like yourself say that...

Weren't you out here when Fo' Life, Backyard Boogie, Only In California, and Nothin But Tha Cavi were gettin bumped like crazy out here?... that shit was tight. I dont like his  shit from Tha Recipe and beyond... but to hear you say you NEVER felt his shit kinda surprised me... He was tha shit back in tha dayz...

I even consider Based On A True Story almost a Classic West Coast Album... that shit was dope. Dopeman 2000... Bitch Tell Me What You Need, Cavi Water Weed Or Speed...

I'm surpised he's on it too though... didnt' Suge not like Mack 10? Whatever though, you know how that goes...

Well those albums were totally fueled by Ice Cube being involved as (public perception) his mentor.  He never really stood on his own two IMO.  Dont get me wrong, hes had his moments like with that track he did with T-Boz.  I actually bump that song to this day.  But overall, Mack 10 never came out and shinned on his own and thats the real reason I made that statement.  Nice push back on my reply but I still think Mack 10 is wack overall.  Oh, and I DO OWN all of his albums OG (cuz I support the west as a whole) so Im not trying to diss any Mack 10 fans out there.  I did put my money where my mouth was.   ;)

Oh that's cool... I wasn't tryna knock you... but yeah, I see what you're sayin they were influenced by Ice Cube big time... He might have even had alot to do with tha Production on Based On A True Story now that I think of it cuz that whole album sounded liike some beats Cube would rap over...

His flow started gettin boring and lazy over tha years... dont know if Cube helped him write his shit back in tha day but most likely... I thought he sounded cool on his first two albums...

mack 10 deserves some credit.. stop hatin on him! and about him not standin on his own two feet? many artists have a bigger one helpin them in the begining.. aint nuthin wrong with that...

west up!
mack 10 may not be the goat.. but he sure brings some tight music..  :)
