Lethal Injection>> the Predator

i just listened to that album yesterday from beginning to end.
yeah its 8)

Lyrically its a step back from his previous albums, but it makes great cruising music no doubt.

weakest track Enemy?

Yeah I picked this up after getting Cube's other 3 essential albums. I happened to hear K-Boy's version of You Know How We Do It on dubcnn and I was thinking 'this beat is one of the best I've ever heard! Who produced this shit?' and then I found out it was from Lethal Injection and pretty much ordered the album straight away.
I think out of all of Cube's albums this one is the most easiest on the ear, like you said it has aged really well and the beats still sound great today. If Ice Cube was signed to Death Row, this is the album he would have made 8)

exactly, it's not as profound or researched as Cube's early music (which is his best music IMO) but it's great music to ride to. if you listen to "you know how we do it", Ice Cube's verses are not up to par especially in Cube standards but the production is so good.

First cube album i heard as i had only just got into rap in late 93 early 94. Love all his early albums but will always throw this on and reminisce.
