Flava Of The Month & KSO Entertainment Present:
The UK Slaughterhouse Tour
(Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’9”, Joe Budden & Crooked I)
Tuesday 15th May (London) Wednesday 16th May (Birmingham) Thursday 17th May (Manchester)
The latest signing to Shady Records/Interscope, super group Slaughterhouse, consisting of Joell Ortiz, Royce Da 5’ 9”, Joe Budden & Crooked I arrive in the UK for a 3 date tour. Their second album ‘Welcome to: Our House’, released in mid-June is executive produced by the Shady man himself, Eminem.
Brash and outspoken, bringing together the East Coast, West Coast and Detroit in the middle, Slaughterhouse issued a self-titled EP last year and was featured on “Loud Noises” on the gold-certified, #1-charting Billboard album Hell: The Sequel from Bad Meets Evil, the collaboration between Royce and Eminem. During the past year, the quartet has also been featured with Ludacris, Yelawolf, Travis Barker and T.I., among others.
Slaughterhouse was previously heard on “Session One,” a bonus track on Eminem’s 2010 blockbuster Recovery album, following their debut, indie-issued album in 2009. Widely acclaimed as individual artists, the group formed in late 2008 after Crooked I from Long Beach, CA, Joell Ortiz from Brooklyn, NY and Royce da 5’9” from Detroit appeared on “Slaughterhouse” on the Halfway House album from Harlem-born, N Jersey-raised Joe Budden.
The London show features support from Smiler, with hosting from the MysDiggi man Mystro and Hip Hop’s finest DJ 279 (Choice FM) on the decks.
UK dates as follows:
London – Tuesday 15th May (HMV Forum, 9-17 Highgate Road, Kentish Town, London, NW5 1JY)
Birmingham – Wednesday 16th May (The Ballroom, 52-54 Dale End, Birmingham, B4 7LS)
Manchester – Thursday 17th May (Sound Control, 1 New Wakefield Street, Manchester, M1 5NP)

I thought the show was pretty good, glad I went as it was my first real hip-hop show. Wish they were on a bit longer past 11pm though.
I was late though, missed the first 15 minutes or so, what joints did they perform? Onslaught? Sound Off? Loud Noises?
