After that concert and the buzz around the world, surely now is the time to drop the album?
-
no...2015.
-
he needs to something, if anything he's tarnishing his own legacy by holding out for so long & releasing garbage like Kush & INAD. :-\
-
nope
-
after not even hearing him mention detox news last night I think the album got canned.

thats the funny thing
every record label knows this shit is going platinum off hype alone and multi plat if its good
why they are sitting on it for 12 years makes no sense to me when the music industry is dying
-
Nope, it's all hype man. Not gonna happen.
-
Fuck dre.

It was Snoop's set that happens to get a lot of media attention, not Dre's.
-
It took 14 years for Chinese Democracy to come out. There's a 20% chance that Detox will take longer than that. There's an 80% chance that it is never coming out.
-
if he does decide to release it he should drop it around the 20th anniversary of The Chronic this December 8)
if not just throw it in the recycle bin
-
Sad but i really dont think were gonna hear it, or else we would have by now imo (fuckin sucks!!! lol). Remember the last track on encore back in 04 ems like, "were gonna make dre do it", thats almost a decade ago now, bummer they werent able to make dre do it LOL
-
ppl used to joke around here that 2pac would comeback before we seen detox release....dre just trolled yall.
-
Dre is waiting for you to stop talking about Detox. He believes the hype will overshadow the music no matter how good it is, so he's waiting for the hype to go down before he springs it on you. Lets do our part by not making Detox threads anymore.
-
its going to be released in the form of a hologram
-
Dr.Dre looks like he is tired of rap

I agree that now's the time to drop some new Detox speakers into the next iPhone or something. Dre has moved on past music. He retired from music a number of years ago, in fact.

+1 lmao
